Falling Down (1993)
Michael Douglas considers D-Fens his favourite performance of his own. I'm convinced Falling Down is a comedy. Even the golf cart lands in the water.

Tom Cruise starred in PTA’s Magnolia midway through an insane run: A Few Good Men, The Firm, M:I, Jerry Maguire, & Eyes Wide Shut all preceded Magnolia while Minority Report, The Last Samurai, & Collateral came shortly after. Out of all those hits, this is Cruise’s best work.

Withnail and I (1987)
I watched Withnail again recently, and I'm never less than astounded by Richard E. Grant's pitch perfect drunk. The fact that he's a lifelong teetotaller makes this one of the greatest comedy performances of all time. Richard is a National Treasure.
