You’re better off putting $120/month into the S&P 500.

Start at 30 → by 65 that’s about $455K (from just $50K contributed).

Much better than ending up –$50K in premiums if your family doesn’t actually need the coverage.

@atnissly I find that smaller buildings are managing to hold on because many bank lenders switch to a floating rate after the fixed period, and the loan isn’t due until a later date. The resulting rate difference will eventually erode all the profits.
