@troypavlek If you have contract details or access to COE's report to CM, U shd publish.
If COE breaks even on the contract charges in two years, something is amiss. Possibly COE didn't do sufficient due diligence years ago. We don't know all the facts.
& where was COE $$$ to build.
@reparkable@Polymarket@PolymarketIntel There are numerous landlocked countries that do just fine. USA would help AB build ports in Washington St. just as Nutrien is ready to do. Financially AB would be almost as rich as Denmark.
@Infolib_@Polymarket Perhaps U didn't notice - the largest potash company is building a port in Washington state - not BC! Alberta could do likewise bc easier to deal with USA than Fed's, BC, and Indingenous. Passport will be just fine, AB deals with lots of friendly countries
@toronto_morning Please name the eastern MP who even thinks for a moment about Saskatchewan or Alberta.
Has the PM shown either Province that their future prosperity is best realized within Canada?
And now eastern Canada is importing LNG from far away, but no pipelines/LNG plants for you.
@Edmontonsun Poilievre would be speaking to Ontario and Eastern Canada - not the west. He knows, as do we all, a party has to win Ontario and the east for form a Government. Could be interesting bc he is running in Alberta.
@RebelNewsOnline Rebel News - this pension hike applies to past MP's - right? How many MP's now receive this pension? Two terms and the pension applies? Huge numbers!!
From a r/edm reddit thread - - "There's communities within an hour of Edmonton that are much more appealing when you have a family. You just need to get outside of where the buses run. Believe me, I moved into one."
Result of YEG council plan for YEG? #yegcc#yegmayor
In the last year if you have acted and spoken like an anti-Semitic Jew hater many of us have noted.
And we will not forget what you said and done for the rest of our lives.
@WBrettWilson@cityofcalgary Absolutely! COE council encourages developers to evict low income tenants, tear down low income housing and build unafforadable towers. Council is complicit in the homeless problem. Then blames the Prov. Use tricky zoneing practise, #yegcc#abpoli
Committee members heard in earlier testimony from independent firefighter Kristopher Liivam that a convoy of 20 fire trucks was turned away from Jasper by Parks Canada officials on July 25, three days after the fire broke out. TRAGIC #JustinTrudeau
"The survey, conducted by Maru Public Opinion for CityNews, found on an individual city basis, 74% of those living in Calgary felt their mayor and council were out of touch, followed by Edmonton at 72%, Vancouver at 70 per cent while 61 per cent of tho… See more #yegcc
@JenOConnell_ Good observation on borarder cuts. Of course wondering why it took U and Liberals 9 years to notice the problem. Libs still haven't fixed it - but U still a conservative problem. Really! #cdnpoli
@PaulTheActor Perhaps U can recall a few yrs ago the 1st item the NDP Gov't did was cancel water bomber contracts. A short time later homes in Fort McMurray burned. Jasper reports - equipment is available, weather is not allowing its use. #jasperfire#abpoli
@simmonssteve. The team that's not a team makes G7. Being so eastern smart U must b shocked. Yr pathetic, maybe try writing about cricket, or picketball. #nhlgame7
@s_guilbeault Perhaps U can explain to citizens which temperature is caused by global warming & CO2? Is it the heat in Sthwest Ont., or cold in AB? snow in Canmore, frost warning in central AB. Everyone knows is cannot b both. Which part of CDN is your oppressive tax saving?
Listen to what he says:
“I was in Hamilton in a classic steel plant and I was meeting some of those, you know, “over-alled folks” …
How condescending.
Imagine if PM Harper had said this …
Heads would have exploded 🤯🤯🤯
This makes me sick.
Edison Motors (@EdisonMotorsLtd), out of BC, is an amazing Canadian company trying to build electric logging trucks. Really cool stuff. So far, they've done it all without government grants.
Someone at the BC government convinced them to apply for a grant.
They applied on their own and got rejected, which really surprised the guys.
An accounting firm named MNP reached out to them, and said they could complete a re-application for them. Their fee... 20% of the amount granted by the government.
Turns out MNP is the firm also hired by the government to review and approve grant applications. So MNP acted for the grantor and the grantee, which is a conflict of interest.
Edison Motors brought this up to the government. Instead of investigating MNP, the BC government is now investigating Edison Motors. WTF?
This is how all government programs work. It's corruption.
