Some parts feel like a fan fiction with the way they try to mishmash things from the original S2 together, and even unnecessarily bring in several plot points from S3. So much more I want to say, but I think it’s gonna have to be in video format.
I already had plenty of significant issues with S1 of Netflix’s Last Airbender, but man so far S2 is FAR worse. It takes the best season of the show and bastardizes so many character arcs. The versions of Aang, Iroh, and Zuko are particularly insulting.
A great ending to a great show. Loved that they kept true to the arcs they were going for with Carmy, Syd, and Ritchie. An overall optimistic and calmer season, and it all felt earned. I loved the last two episodes in particular
This discourse intellectually stunted people are doing on Kane Parsons and Curry Barker may be one of the most insufferable things I’ve witnessed in the movie space in a while. Saying things just to say them. Get over yourselves
It is sad to see that the next thing Hollywood is looking to franchise and milk dry is LOTR. Nothing can take away the special quality of the original trilogy, but man it’s infuriating this is happening nevertheless

Cons of the Oscars
- Structurally worse than last year’s
- Incredibly unfunny bits from majority of presenters
- Cutting off certain presenters when it made no sense (KPop Demon Hunters was particularly egregious)
- Marty Supreme entirely snubbed
Pros of the Oscars:
- Loved the Amy Madigan win, pure horror getting Oscars is awesome
- Sentimental Value for Best Foreign Film, Joachim’s speech was awesome. Movie should’ve won more
- Every Sinners win
- Michael B. Jordan and Jesse Buckley for Best Lead
Pros (cont).
- Genuinely great Conan bits
- Happy with OBAA for Best Pic, was rooting for Sinners
Surprises of the Oscars:
- A tie for the first time in quite a while
- Sean Penn for Best Supporting Actor
Sean Penn was definitely not a thought I had in my head for Best Supporting-between that and a tie for live short this is shaping up to be an interesting Oscars
I have a feeling One Battle is gonna get Best Picture though

According to another eyewitness, ICE gave the woman they killed contradictory instructions, then aggressively surrounded her vehicle. One told her to leave, then as she complied, another tried to open her car door & told her to get out of it, while the killer got in front of her.
Murdering in cold blood is justified to Trump as he manufactures a ridiculous story that anyone with eyes should be able to KNOW is a lie. And of course his loyalists are playing into this gaslighting. Pure, undeniable evil.
hard to believe the ICE officer is still alive, writes the president, of an ICE officer who was not hit at all and was well enough to go run down the street to check on the woman he had killed

Literally killed an over one hundred year old legacy and all just for a little bit more profit…This is exactly what he was brought in to do, why he was always resented, and it’s effectively further pushed us closer towards the end of theatrical and physical media releases. Anyone celebrating this or saying, “it could’ve been worse” to justify it…I literally don’t know what kind of a future you see or value but it’s certainly not the one I do.
