This conflict for me has always been about morality.

Morally, you cannot justify the killing of Palestinian civilians, even if you say it’s fighting terrorism.

It is either we intervene to empower the rural half or we settle for a life of urban crime & banditry.

The government spends over 90% of its budget on the 50% in urban area, thereby creating no incentive for people to remain in the communities.

And the urban sprawl feeds crime.

Nigeria needs a Marshall Plan for its rural communities, one that guarantees literacy (reading, writing, maths & basic computing), improves access to electricity & connects them to the internet.

… in addition to connecting them to markets and investing in their productivity.
