Whether it's intentional or not by writers and entertainment creators, God and the message of His Word is interwoven into not only Marvel, but many stories throughout all forms of entertainment and media throughout history. Some of the greatest movies and TV shows have excellent Biblical themes and truths within them; some hidden and some very plain to see. It's nice to see that not only in the X-Men the animated series but in X-Men 97, these themes have not been as hidden, particularly with Nightcrawler's character.
This wasn't comparable to Christ's temptation in the desert. I compare this more to Christian martyrs who died for their faith. Think of it as soldiers in war who are captured and given the choice of their life or their friends, and they give up their life so that their friends can be free. Kurt has now given further opportunity to his friends to find salvation, and it's beautiful to see Rogue and Gambit now reading the Bible together. Gambit was skeptical of the Bible in the original animated series and now through Kurt's sacrifice we see that he is open to reading the Bible along with Rogue.
@cmaprice@TheresaCampagna No, I don't believe that at all and this wasn't him selling his soul. I view what Kurt did here was following Christ's example. He laid down his life for the greater good. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends"- John 15:13
@cmaprice@TheresaCampagna Kurt knew the one true God had his soul protected and saved. As Cap said in the first Avengers movie, there's only one God. Those other beings are powerful, but they're not God, who ultimately controls all souls, and Kurt knew his soul was saved.
How was Jean was able to physically get from Peter's apartment to MJ's apartment ahead of him, as web slinging would be much quicker than driving? A bigger problem is that it's shown that Jean has control over the guy who gets out of the car and hands Peter the note after he saves MJ from falling off of the roof. It's a huge plothole because she would have to leave Peter's apartment, where she was located when the sequence of chain hopping started, with the note, take control of the driver who drove her to MJ's apartment, then somehow keep him under control while she goes into MJ's apartment to control her and then go back to the car where she somehow keeps the driver under control at the same time that she's controlling MJ, as the movie indicates that she was already controlling MJ by the time Peter arrived, and he web slinged there straight from the helicopter.

@opry@peacock@PeacockTVCare I just upgraded my subscription to premium plus and unfortunately the broadcast still does not include the full performance of โ Will the Circle Be Unbrokenโ. Please add this performance
I wish they had let the broadcast continue so that the performance Will The Circle Be Unbroken could be watched. I hope thereโs a way to see that performance.#Opry100
@REPENTORPER1SH@brysongray@The_HtownHusker If he was truly saved then he's still in heaven. Ultimately only God knows. Neither you nor I know what was in his heart at the time that he died.
@MoonKitty1104@brysongray@The_HtownHusker Yeah, he did release one. It's called precious memories. I was trying to paste the Amazon link here but it didn't seem to let me.
@REPENTORPER1SH@brysongray@The_HtownHusker Hopefully he was saved. I think he lived a sad and tortured life, but he did write some amazing Gospel music, And I saw the light is especially a very powerful, beautiful song.
@brysongray@The_HtownHusker Not really. Country music throughout its history is filled with many great Gospel albums by some of the biggest names in country music. Try Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, and George Jones Gospel albums to start. I Saw the Light by Hank Williams Sr is one of the best songs ever.
@elonmusk@LisaMarieBoothe Now after manually entering in the word Trump, it doesn't seem to be doing that. I don't know if they fixed it or if the search algorithm adjusted.
