I can follow like 500 a day or seems… experience is much better already.

I thought I had a very good idea about perceptual learning and accepted several invitations to give talks about it next week. But I have just discovered a fatal flaw in the idea, so I am cancelling all those talks. I apologize.
We researchers love pre-training. Our new paper shows that pre-training is unhelpful when we have a lot of labeled data. In contrast, self-training works well even when we have a lot of labeled data. SOTA on PASCAL segmentation & COCO detection.
