@MarcMillerVM You introduced this pathway promising caregivers a clear route to PR. 2025 applicants have no AOR even after 18 months, those who have AOR are denied Work permits. How is 7 years a direct PR pathway and fast processing?

Caregivers are losing WP’s & struggling to survive financially . How much worse does it have to get before anyone is held accountable?

Our petition was presented on September 22 by @sukhdhaliwal sir. The 45 day deadline is November 6. 🤞

Hopefully, next week brings some answers and real action for Home Care Worker Pilot applicants. We’ve waited long enough.

You say you are working on processing the files, then how come the processing time doesn’t even come down at all. Let’s not forget that most of us haven’t even received acknowledgment for our file submission. You seem working so hard!

Each one of us submitted completed applications, with multiple technical glitches when the portal was open for only few hours.

We thought we were lucky to get in, only to realize 17 months later, that we were not so lucky afterall!

What did we do wrong? Why are caregivers being pushed toward losing their status? Some applicants already have expired work permits and are on visitor status; but how are they supposed to survive?

If the processing time for Home Care Worker Pilot 2025 is 7 yrs, then give eligible applicants a BOWP so they can legally keep working while they wait.

If this is truly a direct, one-step PR pathway, then process our applications and grant PR without making us wait 7 yrs. 🙏🏼

We urge IRCC to create an urgent public policy for Home Care Worker Pilot applicants 2025 affected. Extend work permits, and give eligible caregivers PR as promised. Remember Komagata Maru 1914 and Canada’s 2016 apology. Please learn from history and protect families’ futures.
