Full time "True Variety" & Indie Streamerโ 3,000+ games played & counting. I ๐ mint, foxes, anime, Jesus, & probably youโ ๆฅๆฌ่ชใๅฐใๅใใใพใโ Business: [email protected]
I've sadly been informed I'll never be eligible for Twitch Partner.
The requirements state you must have 75 average viewers, and all of my viewers are above average ๐ข
I'm effectively closing my Twitter account.
Sadly, this site is way too loose on NSFW content, and I'm just not mature enough to keep away from it fully. I don't like to admit this, but I choose vulnerability and accountability over pride, so here we are.
I thought I could just avoid the "for you" page, but scrolling to the bottom of posts recommends other posts, and I've gotten more and more NSFW suggestions under SFW artists I follow.
This is a me problem (my biggest struggle), not a Twitter problem, but if I can lament one more timeโ it's very frustrating that Grok (Twitter/X's AI) can scan every post, is very good at processing image data, but can't be used to filter out NSFW content from a user's feed. There is a completely useless "don't show NSFW" toggle in the settings, but it only doesn't show them for people who correctly tag their images as NSFW, and no one tags them like that because they get less engagement, and there's no repercussions for not tagging them correctly. It's my fault for not being mature enough to ignore it, not click their profiles, or be curious about someone's profile when they follow me, but without ways to protect against those temptations, my only correct choice left is to remove the account.
I'm also aware removing this account won't fix the real problem. I have a struggle with lust that started when I was a kid. I've made a lot of progress, but never fully found freedom. If you're of faith and of the same conviction, please pray for me. Jesus is Lord of my life, but I'm still human, and this is a temptation I may always have, but not one I have to accept as inevitable. I have accountability partners with programs that track my internet history, and this site comes up the most when I'm at my weakest.
My time on Twitter was not terrible in general. I'm glad I could use this platform to keep up with my streamer friends when I wasn't able to make it to your streams. I'm thankful for the inspirations and tools I found on this site that have helped me grow as a streamer, and even as a Christian. That said, I also was largely disappointed by what becomes "popular" on this site, especially from the Christian community. Engagement at all costs type of content. Ragebaiting non-Christians to get applause from other Christians type of content. Many times, I typed up rebuttals to things, frustrated by what I saw online from both sides, prayed over it, and deleted it.
"It isnโt my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning." โ 1 Corinthians 5:12
This verse needs more screen time these days, but I'll leave it at that.
I was going to fully deactivate my account, but with AI the way it is currently, I value having a digital thumbprint prior to AI for verification. I'll instead change my password to something random, logout everywhere, and not save the password. I can recover the account via email if I need to, but I won't be using the site anymore.
I'll end with the best life advise I have to offer, knowing this will likely be my last post.
1. God loves you, cares about you, and wants the best for you. His way is not restrictive, it's life giving and freeing, and it really is the best way. A struggle to follow it is always better than easily following the flow of the world around us.
2. Play more indie games.
3. Thankfulness is the fastest path to joy. It's the antithesis of comparison, which we say is the "thief of joy". Rather than comparing what I don't have, actively focusing on all I have been blessed with has radically changed my outlook on life.
4. Get a bidet.
5. Get blood work done.
6. Get an air-fryer.
7. Love your neighbor as yourself.
I'll put my other contact info in the comments; always feel free to reach out!

@SylentBell I'd already typed up the post, but this being at the top of my feed today was the confirmation I needed. Thanks for being here Bell; I appreciated your posts a lot.
@AstralTempestvt I do both - don't worry about the reach too much though honestly; just do what feels best to you. Both have their benefits, but people will be there for you, dragon/camera/otherwise at the end of the day.
I haven't digital painted in over a year, and I wasn't going to post this one, but... AI is slowly taking over my design field, and while the time might come that I have to integrate it to stay competitive, it's still important to me that there's a distinction between AI and not AI.
Made using a Cintiq 13HD I had to roll drivers back on since it's "no longer in service", and a program called "PaintStorm" I bought for $15 forever ago.
Also cancelling X and losing my checkmark because at least atm, I'd rather eat a couple extra packets of ramen a month than get a few more โค๏ธs I can't even eatโ I just wanted to test the livestreaming.

@Activee 1. Congrats Tim ๐ You've been a grinder for a long time, but love to see your faith come through as well. The full package deal ๐ค
2. If I can ask, what did it personally look like for you to put God first? Was it a mental change, or something more practical daily?
@celestiumart@MariaGraceVT@Leaflit I'm honestly surprised mine was so low. Might even be some stuff I'm masking without realizing it, but 1 point under "The minimum score at which autism is considered.", haha. Being a furry should probably be an automatic +50 handicap though.
