@elonmusk we have a serious fraud case against Tesla who have stolen nearly £30k from us. Tesla agreed for us to return the car to avoid the final payment Tesla have now taken the car and also charged the final £28k payment also
The Government recently issued a warning to people with more than £3500 in savings. They say that you better be prepared to pay taxes on any interest you might have earned.
This follows their warning for people who sell £1000+ of items on eBay or Facebook or Etsy. They’re chasing down the data of every seller to collect the taxes.
What they are really saying is they hate people becoming self sufficient. They hate people with savings and who take a little bit of initiative.
They don’t care that Facebook, eBay, Google etc bills customers from Ireland to avoid billions in taxes. Or that big banks play by their own rules. Nope, they just want to make sure that Aunt Sarah who sold some arts and crafts and saved the money in an interest earning account pays her extra £87 of taxes. It probably costs them millions to crack down on these tiny amounts but it’s the principle of the matter - we want you to know that no matter how small you make a step forward, we are here to take it from you.
If they truly cared about poor people, they would encourage self sufficiency. If you save £1000, we will give you an extra £20 bonus. If you sell stuff, we will make the first £20k tax free so you can get going.
A smart government would want its citizens to save money and sell stuff online. The benefits to society would be worth a lot more than the pennies collected in taxes.
The biggest slap in the face the UK government imposes on its most productive workers is the £100k income threshold. At this point, they tax 40% while also removing the tax free threshold giving a person an effective marginal tax rate of 60%.
It’s the bureaucrats saying “we hate you for being successful”. It has the direct impact of making top talent leave the country or dial back their efforts. This tax threshold is responsible for a catastrophic loss of UK productivity.

This is the ONE strategy that’s made:
• Amazon a trillion-dollar company
• Taylor Swift a billionaire
• Your local laundromat worth a million
Any business owner who doesn’t know this model is leaving money on the table.
Here’s how it works:
Only just got to this podcast on the rapid turnaround of Argentina.
President @JMilei understands that the state is the antithesis of freedom and in most cases the destroyer of prosperity. He's taken a chainsaw to government and the country is beginning to heal and grow. It's inspiring to see and I hope it catches on...

@DanielPriestley Detached from reality and a sense of entitlement I feel. I agree this candidate should be thinking of the long term consequences of being so short sighted however this would have been totally understandable if he was in his 40’s or 50’s with tons of family commitments.
Dear young, smart, ambitious Brits. If you can easily leave the UK, do it.
@Keir_Starmer and @RachelReevesMP are planning to move Capital Gains Tax up by nearly double (from 20% to 39%). This means there's almost no point in entrepreneurs or investors taking a risk to build something of value in the UK.
If there is no benefit for taking a risk or for delayed gratification, then progress stops.
The UK government is run by socialists who can't stand anyone becoming successful. They tax you when you earn it, again when you spend it, then when you invest it and if by a miracle you make any gains they want another 39%! They have rigged the system against the hard working, enterprising and growth minded among us.
Money is time. Money directly translates to weeks, months or years of your life. When they tax you 40% they are robbing you of your life from January until May.
They don't give much back in return. The borders aren't secure, the institutions are crumbling, they inflate the currency through rampant government debt. These people give jobs to their mates, almost none of them have been successful in the real world without relying on government money.
Currently the UK economy is 45% Government spending. This is basically socialism and it happened under a Conservative government. Now the country is being run by actual socialists, things are going to get a lot worse for those who create value.
The most patriotic thing you could do is to leave the UK, go overseas and build wealth. When a decent government comes in and lowers taxes and runs the place properly, come back and invest your money into the UK. The country is going off a cliff but you don't have to - the world is a big place, go off and make your fortune somewhere that treats you well.
Labour’s first 100 days in power have failed the country and not delivered the change it promised voters.
Don’t take my word for it, take Keir Starmer’s.

What happened to YouTubers man..
I can't not say anything anymore. This is selling stuff for the sake of making money, simple. How does this benefit their fans?
This is selling crap to kids who don't know better than to trust the people who are selling it to them.
Do better.
@DanielPriestley This should be aimed at the big corporations like Starbucks and google who trade in the UK & are still managing to escape paying a lot of tax by claiming they are based outside of the UK and are thus trading from outside the UK. This taxation issue shouldn’t be aimed at everyone
