A Marxist-Leninist General, Research & Management consultant, Pan-Africanist, Revolutionary, a Social Justice defender& a capitalist fugitive. I hate faking it!
For the families of the disappeared, the agonizing wait for answers never ends. We amplify their voices and demand that governments reveal the truth about their loved ones #𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗢𝘂𝗿𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 https://t.co/65KFxt7Lab
A government that hides its citizens is a government that fears the truth. Enforced disappearance is not a solution. Is a crime against humanity that shatters families and destroys trust. The right to know the truth must never be compromised. #SabaSabaMarchForOurLives@UhaiWetu
Nawapenda mno!
I spoke with informal hawkers operating inside Gikomba market this morning and assured them that they will receive first priority and be relocated to the new 7-story Quarry Road Market, which is nearly ready for occupation and can accommodate over 3,000 traders.
I told the traders in blocks B and C that they are safe where they are and dispelled unfounded rumours about plans to demolish the two adjacent markets.
I also informed the traders that the Pumwani Level 3 Hospital has been equipped and staffed and is now fully operational.
My office through KERRA will continue improving the roads within the market, starting with the reconstruction of Meru Road, which runs through the market.
The Finance Bill 2026 proposes a tax increase for lithium ion batteries. The ones that fuel electric bicycles, vehicles our phones and everything in between.

Millions of youth are unemployed, households are skipping meals, and the wealth gap is widening by the day. Adding heavy tax burdens when Kenyans are literally starving is the peak of cruelty. You cannot tax a struggling nation into prosperity.

Today, Kamukunji notched another major milestone.
From this term onwards, every student at Kamukunji Senior School in Pumwani will enjoy free education. A total of 542 students are now benefiting from the new NG-CDF bursary scheme, which is worth KSh 8.1 million.
I was also delighted to officially inaugurateed 12 new classrooms, 33 modern toilets, a new basketball court, the freshly paved school grounds, and handed over 450 desks.
This marks the fulfilment of the promise I made to parents and students — that we would modernise and transform KSS into a school worthy of its proud legacy. A school that has produced football greats like Victor Wanyama, McDonald Mariga, and Dennis Oliech.
@MPyusufhassan A huge step for education in Kamukunji. Free education for all students at Kamukunji Senior School is now a reality, you've made history, Kamukunji sec is now the first free public secondary school in Nairobi! #MaendeleoWaziWazi#YusufTanoTena
@MPyusufhassan Leadership that delivers, not just talks. Over 8,000 students supported today and a legacy of 73,000 empowered since 2011—this is impact you can measure. Investing in education is investing in the future. Hongera to the team for consistency and results.

A tragic incident is unfolding in Blue Estate, an informal settlement in Shauri Moyo, Kamukunji, where I have learned that a building collapsed during a forced demolition, trapping an unknown number of young people inside.
So far, two bodies have been recovered, and three people have been rescued alive from the collapsed building.
My condolences go to the family of the deceased, and my thoughts are with the families of those still trapped under the rubble. Together, we pray and hold onto hope for the success of the rescue teams working to bring everyone to safety.
I strongly condemn the arbitrary demolitions along the riparian land on the riverbanks of Kamukunji, as well as the callous and reckless manner in which today’s operation in Blue Estate was handled, with utter disregard for the safety and lives of those affected.
I urge the authorities to immediately stop all further demolitions and to launch a thorough investigation into the causes of this heartbreaking tragedy.

With less than a week remaining until the end of the holy month of Ramadan, we distributed Iftar food parcels to 550 needy households from across Kamukunji today at Eastleigh High School. The food packets included maize flour, wheat flour, rice, sugar, tea leaves, salt, cooking oil, and dates.
We also delivered 250 kgs of dates to seven mosques in Majengo, Shauri Moyo, Kiambiu, Madiwa, and Airbase.
This is a wonderful way to build community spirit and bring people together. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen!
We have just successfully concluded an inspiring week-long NG-CDF Kamukunji Bursary Registration drive, where thousands of determined parents stepped forward to secure brighter futures for their children. The exercise was conducted in all the five wards in an open and transparent manner.
The passion for education burns brightly, and harnessing its life-changing power, we pledge to leave no deserving young mind behind—empowering the next generation to dream big and soar high!
