🇵🇸🇪🇬 After Egypt's historic knockout win over Australia, head coach Hossam Hassan walked onto the pitch carrying a PALESTINE flag.
The Pharaohs advance, and their coach made sure the celebration carried a message the whole world saw.
Terrible...

Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, says sanctions by the Trump administration aim to silence her for exposing genocide and calling out those who profit from it. She urges people to “stand united, denounce, and push back”.
Why did Iran Halt Nuclear Watchdog Cooperation After U.S. and Israeli Strikes?
Iran has stopped working with the IAEA, after the U.S. and Israel bombed Iranian uranium enrichment facilities in June. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said inspections at the damaged sites are now “meaningless” and could “possibly be malign in intent.” The move came shortly before Iranian President Pezeshkian approved a new law cutting ties with the agency.
In justifying the suspension, Iranian officials have accused IAEA chief Rafael Grossi of “preparing the groundwork” for U.S. and Israeli airstrikes and of sharing the names of prominent Iranian nuclear scientists who were then assassinated.
Iranian sources claim the agency gave sensitive information to Israel and “followed [Israel’s] orders” in June 2025, based on as-yet unreleased documents. Recent reports also allege that British MI6 agent Nicholas Langman infiltrated the agency.
Since 2015, U.S. spyware firm Palantir Technologies has supplied the IAEA with predictive-policing tools to monitor Iran’s nuclear program. The system, once praised as a “unique and unparalleled intrusive verification regime,” became even more important after the U.S. left the Iran nuclear deal in 2018. This increased the IAEA’s reliance on Palantir’s data from satellites, trade records, personnel networks, and social media.
By 2025, Palantir was still embedded with the IAEA but had also become heavily involved with the Israeli Ministry of Defence and the U.S. military. The company provided tools for battlefield planning, intelligence analysis, and retaliation simulations.
It is still unclear how effective the bombing campaign really was. A preliminary report from the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency suggests that much of Iran’s enriched uranium may have been moved before the strikes took place.
U.S. State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce called Iran’s suspension of IAEA inspections “unacceptable.” Israel, which has never signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and doesn't permit inspections, is believed to possess around 90 nuclear weapons.
