Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren

She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements.

Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service.

JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes.

The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%.

For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%.

Warren said no.

She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024.

Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year.

Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug.

510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December.

14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight.

And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms.

Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back.

40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market.

And the math ain’t mathing.

Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%.

That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.”

So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money?

Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years.

Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do.

Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.”

A win.

14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight.

And she’s taking credit.

This is socialism in 2026.

A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company.

She saved you a billion on imaginary paper.

She cost you ten times that in real life.

She didn’t protect consumers from anything.

14,000+ will go from working to welfare.

She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed.

Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything.

Article IV is pretty explicit that Congress has plenary powers over the territories. This is because when the constitution was adopted, states had competing claims over the territories.

So the framers solved this issue with Article IV, which gives Congress plenary powers over the territories and a mechanism to admit new states.

The assumption was that all territories would eventually become states. The intent was never to create permanent territories where millions of people lived.

Since everyone is suddenly talking about Puerto Rico… let’s talk facts and reality.

In 2016, @BarackObama signed the PROMESA Act, stripping Puerto Rico of meaningful self-governance and handing power to an unelected oversight board in Washington.

Puerto Ricans didn’t vote for it. They can’t remove it. And it can override their elected officials at will.

Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens. They serve in our military. They contribute to the economy. Yet Congress treats them like subjects, not equals.

And let’s be clear: this is one of the many atrocities of the Obama era that people still don’t fully understand.
It was sold as “stability.”
It was marketed as “help.”
In reality, it re-asserted colonial rule under the cover of compassion and bureaucracy.

And here’s the part both parties avoid:
👉 Puerto Rico has voted for statehood multiple times …by majority.
👉 Congress has done nothing.

Not because it’s illegal.
Not because it’s impossible.
But because accountability is inconvenient.

Statehood alone would not fix everything.
The United States itself is dealing with serious, unresolved issues, election integrity, fraud, corruption, and a political class that too often protects itself instead of the people.

Only @realDonaldTrump was willing to openly talk about rigged systems, broken institutions, and how deep the rot actually goes. Pretending those problems don’t exist doesn’t make them disappear, it just exports them.

So if Puerto Rico is going to become a state, the U.S. needs to clean up its own house first.

Expanding a flawed system without fixing it doesn’t create equality, it spreads dysfunction.

That doesn’t mean Puerto Rico should remain a territory. Territorial status is the worst option.
It means Congress needs to stop hiding behind symbolism and start delivering real reform, real transparency, and real accountability…for Puerto Rico and for the rest of the country.

This is why I don’t trust Democrats when they talk about democracy while denying consent.

Puerto Rico deserves a decision, statehood or sovereignty, but it also deserves a country that actually lives up to the principles it claims to export.

Anything less is hypocrisy.

1. La “anexión” ocurrió el 10 de diciembre de 1898, mediante la firma del Tratado de París.

2. Bajo esa misma lógica aritmética, la cual rechazo porque los votos en blancos y las mal votadas no cuentan para nada en ninguna democracia, la libre asociación baja a 24% y la independencia a 9%. La estadidad sigue teniendo el doble de la segunda opcion mas votada.

3. El propio PR Status Act, al cual tanto te has opuesto y cabildeado en contra, incluía una cláusula de segunda vuelta en marzo 2026 (“then a runoff plebiscite shall be held on March 8, 2026, which shall offer eligible voters a choice of the two options that received the most votes in the plebiscite…”). Entonces corresponde un plebiscito final entre estadidad y libre asociación según las mismas reglas del juego.

4. Try harder! Mientras sigan utilizando la misma retórica nacionalista separatista, sin apoyo real numérico, seguirán perdiendo credibilidad ante el liderato demócrata en el Congreso.
