Scope creep on the background-transparent proof of concept: German Glasses.

Put the window on top of German text and it overlays a mostly-working English translation.

PaddleOCR + Chrome Translator API, all client side and free. The web is incredible.

Yeah, there must be better ways. I started with a pattern but then had trouble dealing with compression (in my test, Safari always gives 1x instead of Retina), and then decided that for a proof of concept, color finding will do 😂

I also thought about hiding it in the favicon, but browser compatibility would have been tough.

@codedgar_dev @jaibi_ai exactly, it creates the illusion of transparency by recording the outside of the browser and then projecting it when the window goes back to that position
