Thanks a lot 🙏🏽 @MimiMefoInfo
I believe with the right tools, every student in Cameroon and Africa will be able to reach their full potential.
We continue building 🚀
A university student from #Cameroon by the name #Mbah Javis has released a powerful learning application for students called #Dimoly.
#Dimoly Jarvis explains “Is an AI powered educational app that helps students to learn and succeed.

You went 🍌🍌 for Nano Banana. Now, meet Nano Banana Pro.
It’s SOTA for image generation + editing with more advanced world knowledge, text rendering, precision + controls. Built on Gemini 3, it’s really good at complex infographics - much like how engineers see the world:)
Donc please stop lying to us. We aren’t that stupid. #BringBackOurInternet
Cameroonians across much of the country are experiencing limited internet access as tensions mount over the delayed proclamation of the October 12 presidential election results.
The announcement, initially expected today (Thursday, Oct 23), has been postponed to Monday, Oct 27, fueling uncertainty and frustration. Many citizens report unstable connections even when using VPNs, raising fears of a deliberate restriction to control information amid growing calls for protests.
Observers note that this mirrors the 2017 Anglophone internet shutdown, which lasted 94 days and marked the start of the ongoing conflict in the English-speaking regions. It led to the widespread use of the hashtag #BringBackOurInternet.
Civil society groups warn that silencing communication in moments of political tension only deepens mistrust and threatens national stability.
Cameroon now faces a critical weekend as citizens, opposition parties, and the international community watch closely for transparency, restraint, and a peaceful outcome.

It’s confirmed: Cameroon 🇨🇲 government has cut off internet in certain localities and reduced internet capacity in others in an effort to maintain 92 yr old Biya in power, after he lost elections.
#KeepitOn
Fellow Africans: We did it!!! Cameroonians have voted our 92-year-old president out of power.
They’ll try to steal our victory, but we won’t let them.
After 43 years, we’ve found our voice. We’ve found our power. 🇨🇲✊🏾
@eversendapp i like you guys and i use your virtual card all the time so would like to hear your own side of the story. care to explain this disparity in the exchange rates? at normal rate $1 = 608.97 xaf
wise eversend
come on, it’s 2024. you might write all your code from scratch for the purpose of learning but the truth is no one really cares if you do that or get help from somewhere. the most important thing is for the code to solve the problem at hand & follow the projects coding guidelines
I don’t want to “enmesh” myself into the contentious semantic brouhaha over a pedantic term that someone of the gargantuan academic and financial status of @paulg has albeit inadvertently “accelerated” with his simple thesis on grammatical articulation.
over a decade of mobile development and yet no one has come up with a better way of dealing with this nightmare (mobile app localization) can’t there be a better way? 🥲
it’s high time i start thinking of a music career 😂
jokes aside…this is great progress 👏🏼not saying ai will replace software engineers but one thing that’s certain is it will create new kinds of jobs like “AI-Agent Engineering Supervisor” 🙂
way to go @cognition_labs 🙌🏽
Today we're excited to introduce Devin, the first AI software engineer.
Devin is the new state-of-the-art on the SWE-Bench coding benchmark, has successfully passed practical engineering interviews from leading AI companies, and has even completed real jobs on Upwork.
Devin is an autonomous agent that solves engineering tasks through the use of its own shell, code editor, and web browser.
When evaluated on the SWE-Bench benchmark, which asks an AI to resolve GitHub issues found in real-world open-source projects, Devin correctly resolves 13.86% of the issues unassisted, far exceeding the previous state-of-the-art model performance of 1.96% unassisted and 4.80% assisted.
Check out what Devin can do in the thread below.
To all my Google friends: I know this week has been tough with a lot of criticism about Gemini's gaffes.
Just wanted to say I love all of you and am rooting for you. I know everyone means well, and am grateful for your work & eager to see where you next take this amazing tech!
I always enjoy your sarcastic/satire jokes, but this one isn't funny.
Google is already going through a tough time, and creating this hoax and sending people into panic mode isn't really worth it. 😒
I'm the SVP of Product at Google ($28.8M TC).
Last night, Sundar asked me to "fire the entire Gemini team."
I misread his message (insanely bad service at my 7br 11bath cabin in Park City) and I accidentally fired the entire Gmail team.
Gmail...Gemini.
Look at that quickly without your glasses when you're 7 margaritas deep at the fire pit on a Wednesday and you'd make the same error.
I mean you get how that's confusing right?
Anyway, I'm rolling with the decision.
Gmail's gone.
