Dear Business Owner,
Surprise.
Building is boring.
Studying probably makes you sleepy.
Misunderstood by people.
Delayed gratification.
Missing out a certain things.
Budgeting tightly.
The boring foundation is what beautiful houses are built on.
Keep going.
Dear Business Owners,
That job you don’t like?
It’s a blessing.
For some of us, God has to use difficult workplaces to keep us motivated to build our business.
Our comfort can be our worse enemy.
Dear Business Owners,
I launched🚀
What do I do?
I help people discover how they’re wired to lead, communicate, & build with clarity.
How can I help?
Whether you’re building a business 💼 or leading a team 🧑🏾💼— I can help you activate your strengths and move with strategy ⚙️➡️
Dear Business Owners,
You deserve to make mistakes.
You deserve to recover from them.
You deserve to try again.
And after all of that.
You still deserve to be the confident, intelligent, creative genius that you are.
This season’s success is that you didn’t stop.
Dear Business Owners,
Some of you have to be the 1st amongst your family and friends to start businesses.
Extend grace to them.
As much as they want to be there for you, starting a business pulls on a new side of you they may not know how to support yet.
Be patient and build.
Dear Business Owners,
Sometimes the clarity that’s needed is found in taking the next step.
Just post it.
Just purchase it.
Just partner with them.
Your decision making will mature and compound into greater business acumen.
Dear Business Owners,
For those who prefer Strategy over Spontaneity.
Sometimes your planning is only as effective as your experience.
You won’t be able to prepare for every challenge.
Make peace with the fact that surprises in the journey are necessary for your growth.
Dear Business Owner,
It’s cool start out Self-Employed, meaning the business doesn’t make any money unless (you) work.
Sometimes this season is needed to validate your product/service.
But you must have a vision for a System, meaning the business makes money without (you).
Dear Business Owner,
You may feel worn out because you’re building against your wiring.
Or your personality.
You aren’t outgoing so showing up on social media is a challenge.
You aren’t introverted so strategy doesn’t come easy.
2 options.
Learn or Leverage.
Dear Business Owner,
Don’t start with money in mind.
Start with your market.
King Solomon asked God for wisdom regarding leadership and stewardship and wealth followed.
If you’re starting a business because you’re in need it may be hard to see what your customers need.
Dear Business Owner,
Business is like baking.
Top-tier skills don’t matter to someone allergic to one of your ingredients.
Your product isn’t for everyone.
Finding customers gets easier—
Just ask yourself: where would you go to catch fish?
Charleston Southern won both conference games last week and is currently alone in 5th place in the Big South. Since the start of the season, the Bucs are quietly one of the most improved mid-majors.
𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬,
Don’t let someone go when they make a mistake. Coach them.
Let them go when they’ve decided that the vision is dead & you begin to hear funeral music in their language
Adam was with God & still was given Eve.
That whole “God is all I need.” narrative is a trauma response.
There is healing available in order for us to receive people who push us to our purpose.
Homosexuality is sin.
Transgenderism is sin.
Celebrating LGBTQ is sin.
Pride is sin.
Premarital sex is sin.
Adultery is sin.
Abortion is sin.
Supporting abortion is sin.
Murder is sin.
Sin is rebellion against God.
We all have sinned.
Jesus washes away sin.
We all need Jesus.
One of the hardest things about healing is that it challenges the foundation that your relationships are built on meaning it’s a strong possibility that some will begin to 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 as you get 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞.
