@MuzzammilAslam3 Standard of education need to be improved in KP also some new development projects should be started on emergency grounds such as safety city.Bridges for the hilly areas to be connected.
@ShakirAwan88 I am so happy to see this condition of Lahore as Punjab is not only Lahore that she carry on launching different projects for Lahore only and rest of the Punjab doesn’t bother to this govt at all.
@iRaiSaqib She left this world so parents shouldn’t act in this way. After all we all will have to face this day no matter sooner or later.Cutting ties doesn’t mean that she won’t be called their daughter.May Allah give better sense to her father and family.
My father, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has now spent over 700 days in prison - held in solitary confinement. He is denied access to his lawyers, not allowed visits from his family, fully cut off from us (his children), and even his personal doctor is refused entry. This is not justice. It is a deliberate attempt to isolate and break a man who stood for rule of law, democracy, and Pakistan.
Intellectual Dishonesty is so common in Pakistan.
Let me break it down for your date by date what the reserves were in 2022. Hate IK as much as you want but figures don’t lie.
Let’s Begin.
Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves in 2022 experienced significant fluctuations, with a general downward trend throughout the year, driven by economic challenges such as increased current account deficits, external debt repayments, and limited dollar inflows. The data available provides snapshots of the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country (including reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and commercial banks) at various points in 2022:
1. January 7, 2022. Total liquid foreign reserves were $23.90 billion.
2. January 21, 2022. Total reserves stood at $22.48 billion.
3. January 28, 2022. Total reserves were $22.08 billion.
4. February 4, 2022. Total reserves increased to $23.72 billion.
5. February 11, 2022. Total reserves were $23.49 billion.
6. February 25, 2022. Total reserves stood at $22.88 billion.
7. May 6, 2022. Total reserves were $16.376 billion, with SBP reserves at $10.308 billion, reflecting a decline attributed to external debt repayments.
8. October 7, 2022. Total reserves dropped to $7.59 billion, the lowest since July 2019, covering less than six weeks.
9. December 2, 2022. Total reserves were $12.58 billion, with SBP reserves at $6.7 billion, the lowest in nearly four years.
10. December 30, 2022. SBP reserves hit an eight-year low of $5.576 billion, with total reserves at $11.4 billion, after a $245 million outflow for debt repayments.
11. Year-end 2022. Total reserves, including gold, were reported at $9.93 billion, per World Bank data.
The reserves fluctuated between a high of $23.90 billion in early January and a low of $7.59 billion in October. The annual average for 2022, based on historical data, aligns with the reported year-end figure of $9.93 billion. These figures reflect the combined reserves of the SBP and commercial banks, with the SBP’s portion often being significantly lower due to its role in managing external debt payments.

“Instead of going through the formality of introducing a 27th constitutional amendment through a sham parliament, it would be better to openly declare a monarchy, because what exists today is outright dictatorship, forcibly imposed on the country.
The very foundation of Pakistan was laid on La Ilaha Illallah (There is no god except Allah), a declaration that liberates mankind from all forms of slavery. Our country was freed from British rule through immense sacrifices to establish a nation where every citizen would enjoy personal liberties. But the situation is completely the opposite. A mafia seeks to keep the entire nation enslaved. I am willing to endure solitary confinement in a dark prison cell, but I will never accept slavery. And that is my message to everyone: it is better to choose imprisonment than to live in such bondage. What is the value of freedom if, outside these walls, we are not truly free? Iqbal’s Shaheen (eagle) soars high, it does not live in servitude.
I give this call to the entire nation, especially to the workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf: Launch a movement after Ashura against the tyrannical system that has gripped this country. For me, death would be better than accepting a system built on slavery.
Every attempt is being made to suppress my voice so that my message does not reach the people and no one dares to stand up against oppression. But I will resist tyranny until my very last breath. I have complete faith in my Creator that this shadow of injustice will soon be lifted from Pakistan.
There are four pillars integral to any democracy: the right to vote, the rule of law, moral integrity, and a free press. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has effectively dismantled all four:
1. The Right to Vote: A dictator has no need for public mandate; he governs through force. The illegitimate assemblies formed via Forms-47, and the subsequent distribution of reserved seats, have only reinforced the perception among the people that their votes hold no value.
2. The Rule of Law: The judiciary has been reduced to a subordinate department of the government. Courts are packed with handpicked judges, while independent judges have been silenced. This is a hallmark of martial law, not democracy.
3. Moral Fabric of Society: This amendment has buried all ethical values. Individuals who are not true representatives of the people now occupy seats in the assemblies. Horse-trading of assembly members continues with impunity, and even the judiciary operates under the thumb of this mafia.
4. Free Media: Under a dictatorship, the media is bound in chains. Freedom of expression has been entirely curbed. Independent journalists are being targeted, while the rest have been bought off.
Peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic and constitutional right. Yet, 26 of our MPAs were suspended for staging a protest in the Punjab Assembly. I commend Ahmad Bhachar and all PTI MPAs who had the courage to challenge these pharaohs. Until our 26 members are reinstated, our elected representatives should hold their own assembly outside. The Form-47-based assemblies do not represent the people, in any case.”
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Conversation with Members of his Family - Adiala Jail (July 1, 2025)
@MuzzammilAslam3 You are a part of kp government. Why no action has been taken to rescue tourists in sawat?? Why army has not given any helicopters for rescue operations. Why it took too long????
@sajwani Yea and all this is available only to rich people with money in their pockets.Nothing for the less privileged people.
Schools fees are not affordable.
Medical is not available unless you have insurance.
Accommodation is costly that you can’t even keep your family wd you.
@ayeshabhutta01 Imran khan should crack a deal for these innocent workers.Their future has been destroyed. This nation doesn’t deserve a leader like khan. They want these chors so let them enjoy. If public wr really worried they would have come out on roads and streets in numbers for their rights.
@SAfridiOfficial Where was army who got all the resources??? Where KP govt has only one helicopter and army has more than 300 https://t.co/MTevoj5HdO was not their responsibility who got the machinery or they did let them die intentionally so KP govt get blame for this???
@MianAliAshfaq This whole system is pathetic and Army has no shame left. They are doing what they want to and the whole system is supporting them.Almost all doors have been closed. There’s nii on thing which can stop them now.If Ganda is supporting them then why no development projects r 4 kp???
“Pakistan does not have a hybrid system, rather a brutal martial law: a complete dictatorship. A clear manifestation of this was President Trump choosing to meet Asim Munir instead of Shehbaz Sharif or Zardari because he knows that Asim Munir holds all the power. That is also why I have always said that negotiations should be with the ones who hold power.
The loss of innocent lives in drone attacks in areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is extremely tragic. I have protested and marched all over the world against American drone attacks in Pakistan and my stance on this issue is clear and well known. Every time innocent people are killed, terrorism increases. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government should register criminal cases (FIRs) against those responsible for these drone attacks.
The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa placed their trust in me through their votes. That is why I had instructed that Ali Amin, Muzzammil Aslam, Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, and Taimur Jhagra must brief me on the budget before its passage. Prior to approving the budget, Ali Amin and the KP government should have approached the Supreme Court and stated unequivocally that the party leading the province is headed by Imran Khan, and it is from him that guidance on budgetary matters must be sought, without which even the IMF will not accept the budget.
I issue a clear directive once again: the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government must petition the Supreme Court. This budget is not final. My designated consultative team must meet with me, and the budget should only be passed after incorporating the amendments that I specify.
While other provincial governments are not presenting surplus budgets, offering a surplus from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's funds serves only to benefit the illegitimate federal government. I will not allow the people of KP to be harmed under any circumstances.
In these difficult times, when mainstream media has either been gagged or bought out, I commend the role of social media for continuing to raise the voice of truth. It is thanks to social media that the voice of the people remains alive.”
