Building an LNG carrier is one of the most demanding engineering projects in the maritime industry.

The vessel is assembled from enormous prefabricated hull blocks before specialised containment systems, insulation layers, pipelines and reliquefaction equipment are installed.

Its cargo tanks must safely transport liquefied natural gas at -162°C, while limiting boil-off gas and protecting the steel hull from extreme temperatures.

Every weld, membrane and insulation panel must meet exceptionally strict standards.

These are not simply large ships.

They are floating cryogenic facilities designed to move energy safely across the world.

In Dante's Inferno, people who were neutral in life are treated just as harshly as those who sinned.

These are the "uncommitted" who chose no side. They are rejected by both Heaven *and* Hell.

Lukewarm souls are made to wait forever in the "Vestibule of Hell". They're stung by wasps while they run around in pursuit of a meaningless white banner (in punishment for standing beneath no banner in life).

Even worse, their blood and tears flow from their faces onto the ground to be consumed by maggots. Why?

In Christianity, Christ's blood is shed for man's salvation, and the blood of the martyrs is considered the seed of the Church. To bleed — whether literally or metaphorically — for a worthy cause is a great act of love.

But in the case of the lukewarm, their blood merely feeds maggots. "You shall know them by their fruits," Christ says, but the only "fruit" the lukewarm produce is nourishment for worms.

Dante himself was exiled from his hometown of Florence by a rival faction after years of civil conflict. His dislike of the lukewarm stemmed from those who sat on the sidelines and did nothing while his sentence was handed down — those who let injustice slide and were more concerned with protecting their own lot in life.

Dante doesn't even give them the courtesy of mentioning them by name in his Inferno. The "uncommitted" are all nameless.

His warning to the spineless is thus:

There's an entire criminal industry built around removing pollen from honey.

Why?

Because honey is one of the few foods on Earth that never spoils.

Archaeologists have opened sealed jars in Egyptian tombs after more than 3,000 years and found the honey inside still edible. No refrigeration. No preservatives. No packaging technology. Just a substance so hostile to decay that time itself can't break it down.

The reason connects directly to what's happening in that jar when the bubbles and pollen drift upward.

Honey is a supersaturated sugar solution holding only around 17 to 18 percent water. That tiny water content is the whole story. Bacteria and microbes need available water to survive, and honey is so dense with sugar that it physically pulls moisture out of any cell that touches it through osmosis. A bacterium landing in honey doesn't get infected by it. It gets dehydrated to death. On top of that, bees add an enzyme called glucose oxidase that slowly releases tiny amounts of hydrogen peroxide, and the whole substance sits at an acidic pH around 3.9. It's a chemical fortress disguised as breakfast.

Now look at what that density does to the clarification itself.

Honey is roughly 1.4 times heavier than water and absurdly viscous. When wax flecks, air bubbles, and pollen grains rise to the surface, that's not a small thing happening in a thin liquid. Those particles are clawing their way up through a medium so thick it barely flows. They rise because they're lighter than the honey around them, and the honey is so resistant to mixing that once they reach the top, they stay there in a clean layer the beekeeper can simply skim. The same property that makes honey immortal is the property that lets it filter itself. Density does the work that machinery would otherwise have to do.

This is why traditional beekeepers prize settling over forced filtration, and the distinction matters more than most people realize.

When honey clarifies naturally by rising and settling, the pollen comes up gently and can be skimmed without destroying the rest of what's in there. The honey keeps its enzymes, its aromatic compounds, its trace minerals, the living fingerprint of the flowers the bees actually visited. Heat it and force it through industrial micro-filters and you strip all of that out to make it look glassy and uniform on a supermarket shelf.

That stripping has a darker consequence almost nobody talks about.

Pollen is the only way to identify where honey actually came from. Every region's flowers leave a distinct pollen signature, and a trained melissopalynologist can look at the pollen in a jar and tell you the country, sometimes the very valley, it was harvested in. When commercial processors ultra-filter honey to remove every trace of pollen, they're not just changing the texture. They're erasing the honey's birth certificate.

This created an entire shadow industry called honey laundering. Cheap, often adulterated honey from countries facing import tariffs gets ultra-filtered until it's untraceable, then re-labeled as originating somewhere else entirely and sold at a premium. The pollen removal isn't a quality decision. It's an evidence-destroying one. Investigations have found that a startling share of honey on grocery shelves has had its pollen completely removed, which means there is no way to verify it's honey at all, or where it came from.

So the humble act of letting a jar sit while the bubbles rise is quietly the most honest thing that can happen to honey. The slow upward drift of pollen is the honey telling the truth about itself. Filtration, done violently, is how that truth gets deleted.

There's one more layer that makes this almost poetic.

Every gram of that honey represents bees visiting somewhere around 1,500 flowers, and a single worker bee will produce about one twelfth of a teaspoon in her entire lifetime. The pollen rising to the surface is the physical residue of millions of those flower visits. When you skim it gently and keep the honey whole, you're preserving a record of an ecosystem. When you blast it through a filter to make it pretty, you throw that record away.

A spoonful of raw honey isn't just sugar.

It's a sealed, self-preserving, self-clarifying archive of a landscape, written in pollen, built by insects, and capable of outlasting empires.

Sweden is reintroducing printed books and handwriting into its classrooms. Once celebrated as a leader in digital education, the country is now directing significant resources toward traditional textbooks while limiting the use of tablets and screens, particularly for young students.

Swedish authorities attribute this policy shift to mounting evidence that excessive screen time may have harmed reading proficiency and basic skill development. The government has also announced plans to ban digital learning tools for children under six years old.

Scientific research on handwriting provides insight into the rationale. When children write by hand, they engage multiple brain areas responsible for motor control, visual processing, memory, focus, and language. Unlike typing, this process demands precise coordination of fine movements alongside letter recognition and word formation. Studies indicate that such multisensory engagement enhances letter knowledge, spelling, reading acquisition, and memory retention.

Printed books may similarly promote stronger comprehension. Research shows that people often retain information more effectively from physical pages than from digital displays. The tangible nature of paper offers spatial references that aid memory organization. In contrast, screen based reading, especially when interrupted by notifications or hyperlinks, can fragment attention and reduce deep focus.

This approach does not reject technology entirely. Computers and tablets continue to serve important roles in research, group projects, accessibility features, and interactive exercises. Education specialists emphasize the need for thoughtful integration, applying digital resources where they prove most effective while safeguarding core practices such as handwriting, printed materials, and direct teacher instruction.

Sweden's policy change mirrors growing international discussions about optimal screen time in schools. As educators worldwide evaluate the benefits and drawbacks of digital tools, many are reconsidering when traditional methods may better support fundamental learning.

That’s what they’re demanding because that’s what they want. What can we do to stop it? Apparently not much. But we can remember what happened and why, so that history records the truth. Otherwise, when the war ends in disaster, as it inevitably will, Ben Shapiro will be able to blame you for it.

Tal cual, desde 2023, en el proyecto #DóndeEstáLaPlata venimos demostrando con datos y evidencias esa bomba atómica que por decadas se vino construyendo en el sistema, que justamente terminó explotando al momento que se decidió no seguir utilizando la figura de las liquidaciones como medio de fuga estilo Chapo Guzman de los bandidos que por años manejaron el sistema.

Las historias de Coosaud, Nueva Eps, Sanitas, Emssanar, Asmet, Savia Salud, Capresoca, SOS y otro puñado que han permanecido aún en el sistema es la misma, abusar a su máxima expresión en el desangre del sistema.

La herramienta que evitaba este desmadre, aunque complejo de entender en su mecanismo de control, fue incumplir el mecanismo de resguardo de reservas técnicas, el denominador común de todas las quebradas.

Si el gobierno no hubiera parado las liquidaciones a diestra y siniestra como sucedió hasta 2021, hoy todo lo que se sabe y se entiende sería imposible de conocerlo, y que su objetivo siempre fue desaparecer pasivos propiedad de los prestadores e incrementar la impunidad por esos robos.

Ustedes no recuerdan que las magníficas estrategias de los gobiernos anteriores era desaparecer EPS y con ellas sus deudas, como hicieron con Saudcoop, Cafesalud, Medimas, Ambuq, Coomeva y muchas más. Todo con la intención de dar impunidad y no garantizar los derechos que garantiza el sistema. Fue todo siempre una estrategia dirigida desde los gremios desde hace años, pero @petrogustavo les rompió el molde.

Lo peor es que tienen al nuevo gobierno convencido de seguir el mismo modelo fracasado para poder seguir delinquiendo a gusto con la vida de la gente y los recursos de su salud.
