Hello Twitter/X! Today, I'm taking a break from my extended hiatus to showcase my little brother, @cannon_gates, an aspiring multimedia journalist. Please take a couple of minutes and check out this thread:
Cannon has countless positive traits, but the two that always stand out to me are his work ethic (he balanced 2-3 jobs throughout college) and his boldness (something I envy). Am I biased? Duh. Would anyone be lucky to have him? Absolutely.
Breaking the Twitter hiatus to fire off some quick thoughts after that frustrating game:
- Fire Lonnie Teasley. I don't care if they were in a hostile environment, that is such a poorly coached unit. They are losing us games.
- Give Elliott that job and get him more involved.
- I've not been super upset with Shula's playcalling so far since the OL is so bad, BUT that 4th down call was horrid. He needs to move to the booth with a short leash.
- Sellers is still a stud, but he looks poorly coached and that is a bigger indictment on Shula for me.
Wheelchair ramps are woke. Seeing eye dogs are woke. Braille is *super* woke. Artificial limbs aren’t woke, but priority seating for people with them or other disabilities is woke.
Those speakers announcing when it’s time to cross? Woke. Streetlights themselves? Maybe woke.
Absolutely insane that this is a news story.
It's extremely windy in California. A loose-fitting jacket would make his mic flop around. This is not him being "narcissistic." This is a producer trying to make sure the broadcast doesn't sound super janky.
