@cherryputt1971 I think fans are skeptical, which is fair. Not sure if you realise but Franno was Hughes’ assistant for three years before he was given it full time. So he wasn’t exactly as inexperienced as Ritchie is. We all loved him as a player but this is completely different.
@Bucktoncherry Franno worked under Hughes for quite a while before taking the role. Ritchie just retired from playing today.
Think it’s fair to be a bit skeptical.
Interesting appointment. Loved him as a player for us, and he certainly knows the club/history. Just hope it’s not a job for the boys appointment considering he’s got zero experience in a big role like this. #afcb
We're delighted to announce that Matt Ritchie returns to #afcb ❤️🖤
He is now technical director at the club and takes up the role after his outstanding playing career.
Welcome back, Matt 🙌
@pww8afcb Jim did mention in that long interview that more safe standing is coming. To me it makes sense to make the whole NS into a kop style end. You see quite a few clubs already do it, Wolves, Spurs, Palace etc… would no doubt improve atmosphere.
🚨 Liverpool reach verbal agreement with Andoni Iraola to become head coach. Set to sign 2yr contract (same as #AFCB deals) & wants Pablo de la Torre, Tommy Elphick, Shaun Cooper, Tom Webber on staff. #LFC plan to present 43yo by end of week @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/uYB8DBzOWR
🚨⭐️ Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester City have all called recently to be informed on Eli Junior Kroupi.
❗️ FC Bayern did the same in April, all clubs waiting for Bournemouth to indicate price.

Andoni Iraola not expected to replace Oliver Glasner at #CPFC. Had been open minded re the project but always felt like a long shot and appears his destination is now elsewhere with Leverkusen advancing in talks. More on @talkSPORT with @JacobsBen
@SimonJones_DM This is mad. My ankle looked exactly like that after playing football once, and it took me 8 months to come back and even then it still didn’t feel good. To play two days after is baffling, fairplay.
Understand Tommy Elphick has turned down the chance to become Bristol City manager. #AFCB want him to stay as a key party of Marco Rose's new coaching team @talkSPORT
