@ReneeSolana Sympathy seems better as grounded support. I think empathy is only supposed to be used as a third party observer to refrain the way we feel about treating someone. Otherwise we would think of people as self written characters.

We need to stop calling it the gospel and start calling it the ‘good news’ or the ‘good message’.

We need to stop calling it repentance and start calling it ‘after understanding’.

We need to stop calling it hell and start calling it Gehenna, Hades or Tartarus where applicable.

We need to stop calling it eternal and start calling it ‘of the age’.

When we get rid of the Old English, Old French and non-literal translations, Scripture will be more understood in its original context.

If God is infinite, there can be no place where God is absent. The life moving through your breath, your heart, and your awareness is not separate from the life that sustains the universe.
Separation belongs to the mind.. unity belongs to Reality.

When I realise I am suffering I ask, where is the suffering?

More often then not this removes my attention from the localised, narrow field where suffering resides, and expands it into the total field of awareness.

In that total field - there is no sense of a localised object-me that is undergoing suffering.

I realise I am united with all things in experience.

The suffering disappears.

Pain, difficult problems, interpersonal issues still remain.

But there is no longer the localised view where it feels like there is a little object-me who is in trouble.
