@IslesDen One of the best things the org could do is improve development. Still has to be proven whether or not that has happened but it's nice to see it being addressed
@IslesDen I loved the point about investing in Hamilton especially in connection of the organization need to build through draft. You cant get healthy where you got sick type of thing. LL put his son in charge of an already empty kitchen and had no pipeline either.
The map of Long Island needs to no longer be part of the Islanders logo. Who else uses a map in their logo...it looks so outdated and makes any design muddy and difficult to translate onto other apparel and accessories.
@IsleStotle And all the cultural stuff that comes along with that...there's so much more to it. Do you think this whole jersey design thing, which might be the most viral thing ever for the islanders, would have ever happened under Lou? It's great engagement with existing and new audience
@IsleStotle I've not seen those Lou types you mentioned. I am not pro Darche...it's only been a minute and the only thing I like is having a prospect pool to be excited about, opposed to years past. However, i'm extremely anti-Lou mostly for the outdated stolen Yankee rules
@IsleStotle Widely accepted truth, inhibiting what exactly?! No one answers that part....you love Lou for using time right? The current crop of UFAs on this July 1 + the timeline of the entire roster and incoming matters.
@UpTheTurnpike@MattOLearyNY@TLOMitch Such a shame Shayna continues to look like a sloppy journalist or a rage baiter. I am rooting for women in every aspect of the sport and business of hockey, but she regularly puts her lazy work out there. I wish it came out that she wrote it prior to July 1 but sadly not the case
@IsleStotle Oh so the Palat deal prevents what, signing Lee to a 5 year deal...or max? That's what Lou would do right, and no high jersey # or hair issues to worry about?
@IsleStotle Easily buried yet we're still trying to figure out what to do with that one, and will be for how many more years? And oh yeah, Engvall's usefulness was paramount to the isles success, similar to Palat. Take Lou out your mouth bro
@shazen21 Also there is so much ridiculous opposition to black based jerseys...the Brooklyn black is my favorite the more time had passed. Some of your versions here address what I feel most felt were missing from the original
@shazen21 You have some of the best designs ive seen some far. I am prioritizing the solitary NY logo bc of how strong it is for future branding, apparel, and having a modern look to reach a broader audience. Especially ones that like anything "NY"...New York is a brand.
