A man who has zero intention of cheating has no emotional reaction to “I cheat back” from women.

The statement is irrelevant to his life. It’s like telling a vegetarian “if you eat beef, I’ll eat beef too.”

He shrugs. He’s not eating beef. The threat doesn’t touch him.

He doesn’t sit down to write five paragraphs explaining why the statement is unfair, why women shouldn’t say it, why it reveals her character, why bride price changes the equation. He just keeps living his vegetarian life.

But the moment a man writes paragraphs defending his right to not be threatened with “I cheat back,” he has shown Twitter that the threat actually lands somewhere in him.

It touched something.

If it didn’t apply to him, it wouldn’t sting. The sting itself is the confession.

A man with nothing to hide says “that doesn’t concern me, I’m not cheating” and moves on. A man with something to hide writes a manifesto about virginity, bride price, and society. 😂

You exposed yourself by reacting. If it truly didn’t concern you, you wouldn’t have reacted at all.

The paragraphs you’re writing to defend your right to cheat without consequence turn them into paragraphs that strengthen the marriage instead.
