Earlier today I reached out to @KerryLynneFindl to congratulate her on her historic win, and also to wish her the wisdom, judgement, and fortitude required to chart a path ahead that best delivers on the potential of B.C., to the benefit of all.
I have also reached out to @NVanCaroline@PeterMilobar and @yuri_fulmer wishing them well as life returns to something resembling ānormalā in the days ahead.
As I have said often in the last six months, it was a privilege to take part in the competition.
To our dedicated volunteers, team members, my campaign co-chairs - Dianne Watts, Ed Fast, and Teresa Wat - and the respected leaders who endorsed me: thank you from the bottom of my heart.
When this campaign launched in January, the room was filled with hope, optimism, and a shared belief that British Columbia can do better.
Since then, I have been humbled by the members, volunteers, supporters, and new friends who have stepped forward, worked hard, and helped carry our message of change and prosperity across this beautiful province.
I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you.
Together, we will get B.C. back on track.
What an incredible journey.
When I launched this campaign on January 15, I did so with hope, optimism, and a deep belief in the future of British Columbia.
Since then, I have travelled to every corner of this province - meeting with members, community leaders, elected officials, volunteers, seniors, families, and so many British Columbians who are ready for change.
Everywhere I went, one message was clear: experience matters. It matters because B.C. needs serious leadership, real solutions, and a plan to restore hope, prosperity, and opportunity.
That is why I put forward my Five-Point Premierās Plan - including a 20% personal income tax cut, a plan to get the books in order, and a clear plan to get our economy growing again so you, your family, and your community can prosper.
As we head into election night this evening, I am deeply grateful to the members of this party and proud of the true blue conservative values we have showcased across British Columbia.
Together, we can - and we will - get B.C. back on track.
Born and raised in Delta, my vision for our city is grounded in the community that shaped me.
After eight years on Council, Iām running for Mayor to build on Deltaās strengths and ensure its best days are still ahead.
My leadership is defined by bringing people together, finding common ground, and delivering practical solutions that make life better for residents.
With experience, integrity, and a deep connection to Delta, Iām ready to lead our community forward.

As this leadership campaign enters its final few days, I want to sincerely thank Trevor Halford for his service as Interim Leader of the Conservative Party of BC.
Trevor stepped up at an important time for our party and our province. While the NDP have left British Columbia facing serious challenges after years of mismanagement, Trevor has done a tremendous job holding them accountable and keeping our team focused on what matters.
Thank you, Trevor - your leadership and commitment are truly appreciated. If I am successful, I can't wait to work with you to get BC back on track.
And to all BC Conservative members: the countdown is on!
Voting closes Friday, May 29 at 8:00 am.
I would be honoured to have your #1 spot on the ballot - or your consideration for #2 - so we can work together to bring prosperity back to British Columbia.

I have to say unreservedly that @TrevHal has done a very admirable job as interim leader. Whoever is successful in the leadership contest is walking into a clean office with a functioning purpose.
Voting is underway and I have spent the last few days personally making hundreds of phone calls to members across BC. Iāve heard from people who are frustrated with where the province is headed and who want experienced leadership, practical solutions, and a team ready to defeat David Eby and the NDP.
The response has been incredibly encouraging. Support for our campaign continues to grow and many undecided members are breaking our way.
If you have not voted yet, I would be honoured to earn your #1 support on the ballot. And if you are supporting another candidate, I respectfully ask you to consider marking me as your #2 choice.
Voting closes Friday, May 29 at 8:00 a.m.

A tremendous thank you to MP Brad Vis for your endorsement, friendship and support of our campaign to get BC Back on Track.
Brad is a thoughtful, hardworking and principled conservative who cares deeply about his community, the education system, healthcare, our economy and the future of British Columbia. I greatly appreciate his confidence in my leadership.
We need strong, serious leadership at this time to unite conservatives, restore hope and opportunity, and defeat the NDP.
Thank you Brad for standing with our team and our vision for a safer, more affordable and more prosperous British Columbia.
Experience matters. Leadership matters.
Please make sure to get verified to vote - and when the time comes, I would be grateful for your #1 support on the ballot and appreciative of your consideration for your #2 as well.

TRUE BLUE SUPPORT! I am truly humbled and tremendously grateful for the many high-profile endorsements I have received from across British Columbia. Every endorsement comes from an elected official who is deeply involved in their community - people who are respected, admired, and who have spent years working hard to make BC and Canada a better place. Their support, encouragement, and belief in this campaign mean more to me than I can express.
Across British Columbia, people are concerned about the direction our province is heading under David Eby and the NDP. Families, workers, seniors, and business owners all feel it. BC is even being left out of important national conversations that will shape our economy, our jobs, major projects and our childrenās future. British Columbians know we can do better - and they are ready for change.
What has inspired me most throughout this campaign is seeing so many incredible people from all corners of the province come together because they believe we can restore hope, confidence, opportunity, and common sense leadership in British Columbia.
Now, the most important thing is making sure you are verified to vote. Verification closes on May 20 at 11:59 PM, and voting takes place from May 23 to May 29.
With the support of these outstanding endorsers, my commitment to repeal DRIPA on Day One, and my Five-Point Premierās Plan, I truly believe we can get BC back on track.
And during the vote, I would be sincerely grateful for your #1 support on the ballot and very appreciative of your consideration for your #2 as well.

Time is running out - and this leadership race matters for the future of British Columbia.
If you are not VERIFIED to vote in the BC Conservative leadership race, you could miss your opportunity to help choose the leader who will take on the NDP and get B.C. back on track.
The deadline to verify is MAY 20th.
Across the province, Iām meeting hardworking British Columbians who want real leadership, real solutions, and a government that understands the challenges families, workers, seniors, and businesses are facing every day. The energy and support we are seeing is incredible ā but now we need everyone to take the next step and get verified to vote.
My team is helping people every single day - online, by email, and at events across B.C. - and the process only takes a few minutes.
ā Verify to vote
ā Encourage your friends and family to verify
ā Help us build the momentum to win
Voting begins May 23rd.
Thank you for your support, your energy, and your belief that together we can restore confidence, opportunity, and hope in British Columbia.
Letās get B.C. back on track - together.

Today, Iām proud to stand alongside my friend of more than 20 years, the Honourable Yonah Martin, as she officially endorses me to become the next leader of the Conservative Party of BC and the next Premier of British Columbia.
Yonah has spent decades serving Canadians with integrity, principle, and leadership. Her support means a great deal to me.
We share a deep belief in servant leadership, and we both know that experience matters, especially at a time like this. Iām grateful for her confidence in the vision weāve put forward, and in my Five-Point Premierās Plan to get British Columbia Back on Track.
If youād like to learn more about my plan and how I will deliver real solutions for British Columbians please visit: https://t.co/uiQHESGvVr
Another big moment tomorrow - Iāll be on the Global TV debate at 4:30 pm.
Itās another opportunity for me to share not just my experience - but a clear plan to bring our party together and defeat the NDP.
Iāll be talking about my Five-Point Premierās Plan - starting with repealing DRIPA on Day One, and delivering a 20% personal income tax cut to help British Columbians keep more of what they earn.
And remember, right now, weāre in Phase Two of this race: voter verification.
Itās an important step - and I want to reassure you that the process is secure and your information is protected. Once youāre verified, youāll be ready to vote between May 23rd and May 29th.
Iād be grateful for your #1 support - and your consideration as your #2.
Together, we can get B.C. back on track. https://t.co/uiQHESGvVr
Loving the teaser, looking forward to the interview in full.
Iain is the guy who can win over the center, and take the power away from the BCNDP, no weird deal with Brodie required.
What a great way to finish our whirlwind trip through the Kootenays!
First, many thanks to all our Members in Cranbrook, Castlegar, Nelson and Creston for taking the time to engage our team, and for caring so much about BCās future.
Then, after an āinvigoratingā 5am start this morning š¬ to catch our flight from Cranbrook to Kelowna, Dale (see photo) approached us at the airport to introduce himself.
He wanted me to know that he recently joined our party ā¦*specifically* to vote for me!
He did so because he believes Iām the only one who can defeat the NDP in a General Election, because of our commitment to repeal DRIPA as Job #1, and because of our bold, 5-point Premierās Plan to fix our crippling economic challenges in BC, thereafter. (āRepeal DRIPA⦠THEN what?ā)
Dale, great meeting you, and humbled to receive your vote⦠keep building British Columbia.
And Thompson Okanagan ā¦. See you later today and through the weekend!
āIain Black came out as the best.ā - Keith Baldrey, following Friday nightās debate.
Hereās why-
On that debate stage, I was clear: we donāt need to compromise our principles to win. Conservatives believe in getting government out of the way, protecting private property rights, and trusting people to make decisions about their own money. When people hear what we actually stand for, they know we are the better alternative.
Experience matters when it comes to turning this province around, restoring hope, and rebuilding confidence in our future - and I have the experience to do exactly that.

Also the Conservative leaders debate. My take: Black was most serious and premier like. Fulmer was too aggressive in his attacks on Elliott. Elliott was on the defensive more than anyone and weirdly played the culture identity card, ignoring real issues. Milobar was ignored and Findlay did better than expected. #bcpoli
