@sahilk Mostly claude code for design and git for version control, anything else needs more context or AI could nt understand, we can use figma there , doing manual edits

Denying entry for being late is one the most idiotic rules to exist. What exactly are you losing by allowing a late student to write the exam? Don't come at me with the "but it's to ensure discipline". Bc no one ever deliberately gets late. The entire system is filled w sadists.

Seems true.. developers usually adopt abstraction as progress, while designers are trained to protect taste and authorship.. how two communities see things differently. So dev discourse becomes “code isn’t dead,” while design discourse becomes “human creativity still matters”.
Taking months of work from freelancers and then disappearing over payments is one of the most spineless things a founder can do.

The pace and workflows of the software industry itself is changing. Execution is being democratised because everyone has ideas.
You can execute an idea completely without being involved in figma and that is the biggest change.
We still have photoshop, but if you want to make a quick birthday message with someones face - you just use gemini/gpt instead of opening figma.
That is what everyone should be concerned about - how much of figma skills will you actually require on a daily basis (as a designer) going forward.
For me, it has reduced. Not zero.
