Press the heels of the O- line. Cut & step north. Have a tight core & explode through the line of scrimmage. Split the middle of the second level defender & give yourself a two way go.
Here the rb could press a little more. Small subtle cuts, set up zone/gap blocks for oline.
I left College as a player and graduate assistant knowing I gave it everything I possibly could w/ the resources I had. I maxed out. Yet I came back home embarrassed, ashamed, and had to remind myself. No one knew who I was until I stepped foot on that campus. I was owed nothing.
The guys on scholarship are allowed to make mistakes. As a walk-on you cant, everything must be perfect. Coaches know you are better than the guys on scholarship, but they are on scholarship. You have to be twice as good as them.
Take constructive criticism, and dont say a word.
Being a walk-on from a Junior College is the road less traveled. Noone believes in you, but you. You doubt yourself alot, perfection consumes your mind. As much as you are at school to get an education, playing time matters, every rep matters. Perfect practice or thats your ass.
The life of a Walk-on Division 1 football player is just different. Most people cannot grasp how much it teaches an individual as a person and as an athlete. Nothing given, but respect is earned. #EarnIt

God I pray that you lead me and guide me right now… please protect me from what I do not know.. and from the weapons that are formed against me.

a sound mind.”
I’ll let you kids in on a little secret when it comes to Div 1 football, especially during spring training. THAT’S THE HARDEST PART OF THE SEASON. Spring Ball is meant to weed out the mentally & physically soft. 5:30 am two hour workouts, followed by an entire day of class, tutors, and then practice at 3pm, followed by film sesh, study hall, and mandatory team dinner before you get home at 10 pm with the same homework and projects due as the frat boy who isn’t playing a sport. Also because you’re on athletic scholarship, some schools require a mandatory minimum GPA or you’re automatically cut from the team … And you’re expected to keep this schedule up 5-6 days a week for 3-4 months until summer & fall camp begins. If you’re mentally not committed you will not last 😂
