Across the country, thousands of truck drivers park their vehicles on highways in a shockingly careless manner. Every night hundreds of vehicles hit such dangerously parked vehicles.
In 2023 alone, 5,636 people died in India in crashes involving parked vehicles.
Next time you see a truck dangerously parked or stranded on a highway, please don’t simply drive past. Call 1033 or 112 and ask them to get it removed. That one call may save lives.
Please RT.
This is horrifying.
Dr Vivek Jangra, HCMS Fatehabad, an in-service General Surgery resident at ESIC Faridabad, reportedly developed an INTRACRANIAL BLEED amid prolonged working hours and extreme stress.
Despite radiology and neurosurgery facilities reportedly being available at ESIC, his colleagues allege he received no adequate care from the institution.
His condition worsened to QUADRIPLEGIA.
He had to be shifted in a PRIVATE AMBULANCE to a PRIVATE HOSPITAL, where he underwent surgery.
He is now INTUBATED and ON VENTILATOR SUPPORT.
If these allegations are accurate, this demands an immediate investigation.
A doctor collapsed inside a medical institution with the facilities to treat him—how did things reach this stage?
Who is accountable for Dr Vivek Jangra?
Sir, with due respect, profit is not a dirty word just because it is earned by a hospital.
You should be asking why A 5-star hotel charges ₹500–700 for a coffee and ₹20,000–50,000 for a room because you’re paying for far more than coffee or a bed.
I don't see you shutting them down
Then why do we pretend healthcare infrastructure should somehow operate for free?
Patients entering corporate hospitals expect the best doctors, trained nurses available immediately, 24×7 emergency care, ICUs, expensive equipment, infection control, private rooms and premium infrastructure.
Who pays for all of this?
India doesn’t have universal healthcare. Private hospitals aren’t endlessly subsidised by the government. Yet we expect them to invest hundreds of crores, pay thousands of employees, maintain expensive infrastructure—and then apologise for making a profit.
If a hospital cheats patients, overcharges deceptively or follows unethical practices, investigate it and punish it brutally.
But stop confusing profitability with profiteering.
A profitable hospital isn’t automatically an unethical hospital.
If we demonise every hospital that makes money, don’t be surprised when nobody wants to invest in building good hospitals.
Over the last ten years mineral rich States earned more than Rs 5 lakh crore from mining. The Centre earned around Rs 82,000 crore in the same period.
Even after this amendment, roughly 90 percent of everything mining pays continues to come to the States.
Nine rupees in every ten still reaches Odisha's treasury. If someone tells you the State has been emptied out, ask them where those nine rupees went.

May all govt officials be made accountable for their actions. May every corrupt official of every department who doesn't performs his duties, because of whose incompetencey the common man suffers is thrown out irrespective of political party and state. Nation above political party 🇮🇳
Prime Minister Modi should be assassinated. If it were up to me, I would do it myself: A Peaceful Cockroach at CJP Protest
Imagine the audacity: calling PM Modi a dictator while openly issuing assassination threats, and than walking free
They are:
Trying to lynch security forces.
Brandishing swords.
Threatening to "do a Nepal."
Molesting women journalists.
Attacking the PM's convoy cars.
Abusing India and the Army.
Doxxing cops and threatening them.
How will the govt tackle this? Wait and hope it dies down on its own? Is there any threshold at which they draw a line and say, "Enough"?
The CJP protest was illegal, held without permission and under active Sec 163, BNSS. Even so, the state might have overlooked the defiance had it stopped there.
But then came the violence, arson, and assaults on security personnel. It will be a shame if the state fails to hunt down every last rioter, punish them decisively, and publicize it for all to see.
You have to draw the line somewhere and assert the rule of law. Anarchy tolerated is anarchy empowered.
Three questions that every student protestor is asking Government today over NEET:
1. If the NEET system is genuinely secure, why has the Government not publicly released a complete, independent, time-bound account of every alleged leak, irregularity, beneficiary and official failure and why should students trust the same system again?
2. Why is the Government using police force against students demanding answers, while the people responsible for any paper leak or examination failure have not faced equally visible and swift accountability?
3. If the Education Ministry accepts political responsibility for the integrity of India’s biggest medical entrance exam, why should the Education Minister remain in office while students are protesting for weeks and the credibility of NEET continues to be questioned?
When something goes horribly wrong under their dept, the minister in charge should step down, plain and simple.
It doesn't matter if they didn't personally cause the disaster or even know every detail of what was happening behind the scenes. Being in charge means taking credit when things go well, but it also means taking the fall when things fall apart. That is what true leadership is about.
Since politics is all about strategic morality than real morality, I'll talk about strategy only. Stepping down isn't a sign of weakness; it’s actually a smart, strong political move. When a minister stays put after a major disaster, the story becomes all about them trying to save their own job, and the controversy just drags on endlessly. A quick resignation clears the air. It acts like a fresh start, allowing the govt to bring in new leadership, fix the problem, and show the public that they actually care about high standards. It builds way more respect with voters than digging in your heels ever will.
When someone stays in office purely so the administration doesn't "look weak," or so the opposition doesn't see a resignation as a win, it tells the public that party pride matters more than accountability. Voters can easily tell the difference between standing firm on principle and being too stubborn to own up to a failure.
The situation of DHH Malkangiri, the remotest place in odisha where a posting is considered punishment. The duty doctor is being bragged and beaten by 100s of mob. Where is security? Where is law? Who will work in such condition? We demand strong action. @CMO_Odisha@PMOIndia
PM is traveling abroad to secure investments and ensure energy security in this period of economic gloom due to various global wars. It is one thing to know that, as a contender of PM post over the last 16 years, you don't have the intellectual capacity to understand this. However, I am intrigued to see your irritation towards promoting a reputed Indian brand (Parle). Is it because you don't want Indian brands to be showcased on the global stage? Or are you disgruntled by your intelligence (or lack of it), which has kept you puzzled over why melody is chocolaty?
I don't understand why some BJP supporters are falling for BJD Propaganda.
Mohan Manjhi is a Great CM.
GDP Growth Rate under Patnaik surpassed 10% only 5 Times in 24 Years and under Manjhi it surpassed 10% in Both Years.
FDI Flow from 2020-25 in Odisha was 160 Crores and in the First Half of 2025-26 was 406 Crores.
Utkarsh Odisha Attracted 12 Lakh Crore+ MoUs.
Naxal Free Odisha Achieved.
Jai Shree Ram.
What non sense. Many times we takes pics of prescriptions or reports or images for our reference or to send to a colleague for opinion or to share with the patient for teleconsultation. Even if someone is uploading for AI opinion.. what is wrong? I do it many times to see whether the AI is able to make a correct diagnosis. To film a doctor without his consent and context is absolutely wrong. Take it down now. #MedTwitter

He’s Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan. He was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar.
In Nov 2023, he was dismissed from service by LG Manoj Sinha for alleged terror links. It was widely reported in media. Despite that, he was hired by Al-Falah Hospital, Faridabad, as Professor.
Two questions: How is dismissal from service considered enough for someone with alleged terror links, why no legal action? Second, a terrorist rehabilitation centre has been running in the name of a hospital in the NCR since 2014, how has it not caught the attention of intel agencies till now?
this is the grind culture in mumbai i’m so proud of
got in the back of a local black and yellow cab and saw a qr code hanging from the front seat
i assumed it was a payment code and was already impressed with the efficiency so i asked the driver
turns out it’s his kid’s youtube channel where he makes rap music.
let me remind you he doesn’t come from privilege, probably not v educated, but he took what he got, and maximised it into a distribution channel on wheels
now everytime his dad carries a curious passenger, kid gets views
so simple yet so enterprising
this is agency.
