@mariedrousse@pragleft_jsteed@CanadianPolling Interesting perspective, however he works for everyone in his riding, so if he believes the best way to serve his constituents is by joining the Liberal party then he’s free to do so.
In Canada, voters elect an individual MP to represent their riding - not the party.
@FrancesNunziata It feels like there have been planned development projects along Weston for years but none of them have started. Are there timelines for any of these projects? They all promise daycare, retail, etc. that would offer our community valuable services. Would be nice to see progress.
Today and every day, I'm thankful for family doctors across Ontario and beyond (and proud to be a family doctor myself😀) Thank you, family doctors, for serving your communities, caring for patients and families over a lifetime! #WFDD2025@OntarioCollege
@kevinolearytv Didn’t you run for leader of the CPC without ever having held political office? Wasn’t Truss forced to resign in record time because of her horrendous performance? Didn’t Carney criticize her? And wouldn’t that leave her with an axe to grind? This is nonsense.
I keep hearing about massive CPC rallies, and they are impressive if the accounts are accurate, but is it possible that polling can be so wrong? I genuinely don’t understand.
Ontarians have made access to a family physician a top election issue because they value having one. How we implement changes will be key, and @OntarioCollege is ready to work with the next government. Our president @Drjvmd on @TheAgenda https://t.co/NBIR81MOqg

Everyday Ontarians should not be lining up for hours, desperate for a family doctor. With an election in Ontario, the OCFP is advocating for all Ontarians to have access to a family doctor. We can change this by investing in support for family doctors. https://t.co/KE6zX6h1pp
Great news. The OCFP is encouraged by the quick progress made by the Ontario Primary Care Action Team and today’s commitment to expand access to integrated primary care teams and enhance digital tools for family physicians: https://t.co/mCHF0QoOGC

The response from Ontarians shows that family physicians are essential to the health of their patients. It’s been heart-warming to read how much patients value their family doctors.
More than 750 family doctors from across Ontario are being recognized by their patients and the Ontario College of Family Physicians for the outstanding care they provide. 🔗https://t.co/ovjFrsDWdB
For World Family Doctor Day on May 19, we are sharing new data showing family doctors are the foundation of Ontario’s healthcare system, responsible for 139,300 patient visits each day: https://t.co/PM9g2UD6H5
The Ontario government must recognize the essential role of family doctors. The care and expertise they provide cannot be replaced, and compensation should reflect their true value to patients and the health system. See OCFP's statement:https://t.co/QlY0c0TwkR

OCFP President Dr. Mekalai Kumanan joined @ONThealth this morning for an important announcement. Ontario is investing $110 million to support and expand interprofessional primary care teams. It's a positive step forward in supporting family doctors and patients across Ontario.
