🚨Louisville UPS Cargo Crash: Death Toll Rises to Nine
Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg confirmed this morning that nine lives have been lost in the UPS cargo plane crash near Louisville International Airport. Overnight, sixteen families reported missing loved ones, prompting an intensive search and recovery effort.
“First responders are actively working the scene as daylight returns,” Greenberg said. “The coroner has been on site throughout the night and remains engaged. The National Transportation Safety Board is en route to Louisville to begin its investigation.”
The FAA has lifted its Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) advisory, and the temporary flight restrictions around the airport have now expired, signaling a transition from emergency response to investigative operations.
