That Justice is a blind goddess
Is a thing to which we black are wise.
Her bandage hides two festering sores
That once perhaps were eyes.

This past weekend, there were multiple disgusting incidents of hatred, specifically against the LGBTQ2S+ community.
Hate will never win. Not here. Not in Calgary.
There is no tolerance for this behaviour. It’s on us, more now than ever, to show what Calgarians are made of.
@calgaryherald Why doesn’t #yyc have a standalone assessment site? Going to RRDTC and finding out you are going through the same doors and hallway as people coming for COVID-19 testing is worrisome.
@CBCNews So sorry to hear this, loved her columns over the years. She had a special way of connecting to readers and never seemed afraid to present a dissenting opinion. Condolences to her family, friends and coworkers.
Today is #BellLetsTalk Day! Every year, Bell donates 5¢ to Canadian mental health initiatives for every retweet. Last year, we had 25K retweets. Let’s beat that!
Nature can have a such positive effect on your mental health. Take a few minutes to get outside (even if just a walk around the block) to breathe in the fresh air!

‘Safari Club International’ is auctioning off elephants to be shot by trophy hunters this SATURDAY.
It's the first ‘sale’ of elephants in Botswana since the govt there overturned ban on shooting animals for ‘sport’.
The auction takes place in Canada.

We hope to get 750,000 followers for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz on 27 Jan 2020.
This will not be possible without your support & engagement.
Help us to honor all victims and preserve their memory online. RT & encourage others to follow @AuschwitzMuseum.
Here’s a worthwhile Sunday read: “…nothing should temper partisanship more than an awareness that somewhere, on some issue, people with whom you disagree are telling a story that you really need to hear.” https://t.co/tpdMZ9hJoE
It's just as beautiful in Lego 😭 Stop-motion animator @goldyeller spent 40 hours recreating Kawhi Leonard's iconic buzzer beater. Jared Jacobs grew up in Calgary, so “naturally I was cheering for the Raptors,” he told CBC Toronto.
