@Lunyfaebo@IrisErased@mudshevik yeah that’s valid i guess you could make the consequentialist argument that every modern issue is ultimately a result of everything that came before it but without a solid through line at some point it just becomes reductive/pointless for sure

i feel like if there’s atrocities committed that still have a visible legacy then that’s worth discussing imo
especially compared to the polls saying they’ll be economically worse off in 6 months
media’s been pointing to that as a proof the budget was unpopular but truth is people have been answering like that since covid
