i sporadically wonder about collective sensemaking, love, belonging, narrative & stories, adult development, communities, care, imagination and stationery.
Thinking about this thing I made a while ago and wondering what it would look like in these times...
If there were a library of perspectives, what would you borrow right now?
to have deep friendships you have to have a high amount of tolerance— you can't just cut and leave when they annoy you, or you have a bad trip together. the timeline stretches much further and requires enough leeway to mess up, make up, and continue onwards
WONDER: a thread
Wonder is an increasingly discussed topic (to my delight!). I thought I'd take a moment to reassert my own research approach & my understanding of wonder.
Here are three excerpts from Wonder Wednesday, (my free weekly newsletter!).

"Are you punishing someone right now? Is there a way to turn that punishment into a boundary or request?" I love this transformative provocation from @adriennemaree.
Ending punitive systems begins with acknowledging AND actively practicing that dismantling in personal capacities.
@AnushreeJairath@arusridhar Didn't realise that was her 🙈! @arusridhar thank you for your podcast. It has given me much joy and started a bunch of lovely conversation with friends :)
I'm not trying to put a downer on things, but these are urgent times. We are affected by multiple & interconnected crises - impacting hard-won gender-equality gains. We need disruptive & radically caring feminist leaders more than ever. If you're an emerging leader - join us!
I've been asking my male friends to do something - *watch if the first response to everything a woman tells you is to refute, say no or something negative*
One texted me later: Holy f*ck
The problem is, constantly putting up with unwarranted resistance is bad for mental health.
