@JonahLupton@mathlonning I really don’t think Gerardo was a great hire either. Waleed replaced the prior CFO with Gerardo because he felt like Gerardo has good experience in selling business businesses. That said, Gerardo has been a disaster in terms of communications to the marketplace.
$TMDX would benefit from having a President to complement Waleed as the CEO... the President could oversee operations and investor relations... let Waleed run the company and be the more technical person while the President spends more time dealing with shareholders and analysts, speaking at conferences, and being the missing voice in this puzzle that has led to such extreme frustration from the lack of communication... this latest issue should be enough to push the board to bring in another c-suite executive to take some stuff off Waleed's plate. He has enough going on right now with the launch of OCS 2.0 trials, OCS kidney, CHOPS, european expansion, becoming an OPO, etc.
$TMDX is down today because the Stifel analyst put out a note this morning saying that dry runs are higher. Of course investors are panic selling without getting more information.
I just spoke to a different sell side analyst and he said the company (ie $TMDX) is strongly refuting the Stifel note.
$TMDX says they have no idea why the Stifel analyst is mentioning dry runs... it has not been discussed in recent meetings or conversations because dry runs have been stable for the past several quarters.
fwiw, $TMDX is about to post their best flight month ever (June) with flights at 34.5 per day, up +33% YoY.
I'll have more to share next week after more calls with the sell side and hopefully IR or management. I will try to help clarify the situation.
Based on what I've heard today and the emails I've seen, it appears the Stifel analyst is making the wrong inferences.
$TMDX is saying that dry runs are not up!!!!! They are adamant about that.

I don’t understand who is going to invest in a $300 billion reconstruction fund for Iran. The U.S. is not doing so, and why would the Qataris or any other country in the Middle East that was just attacked by Iran invest one penny to support Iran’s reconstruction?
Most of the damage inflicted on Iran was directed to military targets. Why would anyone want to help Iran rebuild its military capabilities?
Even if the funds were limited to humanitarian-related infrastructure, if there is such a thing, money is fungible, and we know the first freed up dollar will go to rebuild Iran’s ballistic and nuclear capabilities.
What am I missing?
Elon Musk:”You get taxed on what you earn, you get taxed on what you buy, and you get taxed on what you own. And what does it get spent on? A bunch of stuff you don’t even agree with.
That’s why we need to reduce the size of government, spend less money and let the people keep a lot more of their hard-earned money.”
Out of 16.4 million Americans who served in WWII, only about 40,000 are still alive.
They’re dying at a rate of ~100 per day.
These are the heroes who saved the world from tyranny.
