@kojocona @SaddickAdams That should tell you tgma has lost its class. Nothing is working well from hosts(esp the guy), to the audience vibe and stage cordination
And this has come true after Ghana drew 2-2 with Mozambique. I hope everyone now realises that the team is not good enough.

Ghanaians should lower their expectations for #BlackStars when they play in the AFCON 2023 next year. The team is not good enough to make it pass the group stages.

A matter of press freedom
Let’s remind the @moysgovgh of its mandate. They have a direct supervisory role over all national teams including the @GhanaBlackstars as they hold the various national teams in the trust of Ghanaians.
The team cannot therefore travel for friendly matches in the United States or anywhere and its security detail beats up a journalist without any provocation and for days, neither the @moysgovgh nor the @ghanafaofficial finds it appropriate to condemn the dastard incident while rendering an unqualified apology to the victim, a Ghanaian, and the media as a whole.
Is this how the @moysgovgh pledged to superintend over what the government and people of Ghana have entrusted to their care? How does @moysgovgh remain silent over the situation where an innocent Ghanaian is physically attacked by an official of a 🇬🇭 national team for no reason?
And the @moysgovgh that has oversight responsibility over the team has been dead quiet for days now? Is that how the government, led by H. E. President, @NAkufoAddo, who has tasked the @moysgovgh to oversee Ghana sports, swore to protect Ghanaians? If the @ghanafaofficial lacks the basic courtesy to condemn such an insane attack and apologise, is the @moysgovgh also in the same boat as the GFA? A public condemnation and an apology are not too much to ask for.
@SWAG_Ghana with the venerable Kwabena Yeboah as its President has, as common sense demands, condemned the incident. The silence of the GFA is dangerous. Even worse is the @moysgovgh in whose hands the government has placed the national teams.
Let those in government take note that there has been far too much disrespect and insensitivity to the plight of Ghanaians in several ways. They cannot add the beating up of innocent journalists. I bring this to the attention of the @moigovgh and the Minister, @konkrumah that both the @ghanafaofficial and the @moysgovgh’s silence on the attack on journalist @Chiefseiduadamu is unacceptable.
When Ghana 🇬🇭 ranks low on the press freedom index, it is the @moigovgh that goes out there to respond to such rankings. This must concern them. Condemnation by the @ghanafaofficial and the @moysgovgh will not cure the unfortunate incident but it will show that leadership in our football and sports in general still have the sanity to condemn wrongdoing.
What more can I say? We are closely watching.

The @moysgovgh, @ghanafaofficial, @SWAG_Ghana, and the @GhanaBlackstars management committee are here notified. A Ghanaian sports journalist, @Chiefseiduadamu based in the United States, reports that he suffered an unprovoked attack by a security officer of the @GhanaBlackstars, who are on a useful trial game session in the United States.
Fearing for his life, the journalist has decided to abandon his work and the team. Misconduct is condemned by right-thinking people of society and when public officials like a security detail of the @GhanaBlackstars turn out to be lawless, not just soiling the image of the country but daring to physically harm people, in this case, a journalist doing his legitimate business, silence is not option.
It hurts that the Kurt-led regime at the @ghanafaofficial has taken their high levels of intolerance beyond the borders of Ghana 🇬🇭 and why not, because they have failed to deal with this canker at home. Coming at a time when we need to rally continuous public support for the struggling @GhanaBlackstars, the conduct of this security official needs urgent attention.
The senior national team is not the personal property or football club of the GFA President, whose assigns often create disaffection for him and Ghana football, which he presides over. The state that owns our national teams must not allow rogue characters in any of our national teams lest they embarrass the nation.
I expect all authorities mentioned in this post including the Ghana Journalists Association not to sleep on this specific report of abuse of a Ghanaian journalist by a Black Stars official.
Indeed, against the backdrop of increasing reports by the Media Foundation for West Africa, who continue to work strenuously on the abuse of journalists, Ghanaian authorities here must pay attention to this embarrassing incident and act appropriately.
