Oluwamodupe “Dupe” Oloyede’s history-making run as FAMU’s first female head drum major is now being recognized in a College Football Hall of Fame exhibit.
Whenever Jackson State loses its last football game of a season, the team that beat us has to contend with this strange burden: no one talks about their win. JSU is still the focus. This then turns into resentment of JSU when we didn’t do shit (didn’t even win the game). 😂😂😂😂
@TheBaddestMitch We call our drum majors J5 alsoooo I believe our band was in the movie. I’m a JSU alumni. I know my band anywhere. I do think southern will be next 😭
Black people are ALWAYS told to let racism go.
We can acknowledge Tourette’s but what we won’t do is pretend people should be understanding to the N-word being yelled by a white person.
HAD THIS BEEN ANY OTHER RACIAL EPITHET, PEOPLE WOULD NOT EXPECT GRACE AND UNDERSTANDING.
We don’t talk enough about how Megan Thee Stallion said “I’ma get this sh*t off my chest and lay it to rest.”
AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID.
Said what she said. Got a #1 hit. And moved on with her life with her man.
I love that woman. 💙
“When I was your age, I survived a pandemic and didn’t leave my house for two years. You’ll be okay if you stay in tonight.”
We finally have a line to use for future kids 😭😂
Y’all catch that SHADE Stacey sent to Gizelle + Ashley while they yelled over her??
“Being women who have been with men who have HUMILIATED you both.”
I can see why they yell over her cause Stacey’s reads are lethal 😅😅 #RHOP
I really do love that this is such an unfiltered, Blackity Black sitcom that’s not trying to repeat what’s been done. & it’s putting old Black legends back in the spotlight too.
Hope it gets another season to go against the grain, because this might’ve been the best one yet.
