A biological male pitched a girls' softball team to a state championship in Minnesota. Republicans tried to fix it in St. Paul. Every single Democrat voted no.
Parents who speak up are called transphobes. Girls who lose opportunities are told to be quiet. And women's groups are nowhere to be found.
This is not complicated. Girls' sports are for girls.
Today, we were in Bemidji, Perham, and Alexandria meeting with proud Minnesotans who love our state and its beauty. There is so much worth preserving.
I’m excited to continue traveling across Minnesota, meeting voters, and earning your support!
NIL contracts are evolving with each cycle we go through. Professional representation isn’t just about the $$. It’s about the short/long term protection of the athlete.
Don’t put yourself in a bad situation! Hit me up for any questions or if you are looking for help!
Securing America’s borders is not complicated. President Trump succeeded. Border crossings are at all-time lows.
We need a United States Senator who will protect Americans instead of criminal illegal immigrants.
BTW, we are 62 subs away from 40,000 on the @OLineCommittee YouTube channel...
If you've lurked, but haven't subbed -- or if you're new here! -- you can help us hit that new milestone!
I think people forget how utterly dominant Randy was. He was the definition of a unicorn.
Thor a warning, this is a long, possibly boring story. But figured you might appreciate it as I've had close ties to the team for a few decades now.
A close family member worked for the Vikings for around 30 years before retiring a few years back. He was very close to many of the players over the years given his role (His mother's funeral had an all-star cast of pallbearers).
My wife and I have had an annual SB party for many, many years and my Vikings employee family member would always show up with two things in tow at those parties:
-Vikings merch from the training room for raffle. Often signed stuff.
-A few current or ex-players.
4 SB's ago, I had the pleasure of chatting with two of the cornerbacks that were on the '98 team. One starter, one reserve. The way they talked about Randy during training camp that year was breathtaking, Thor.
The reserve CB told me of a situation during training camp where he and the safety were bracketed on Randy and it was his first time covering him. Jay Fielder was the QB and he threw a ball that both he and the safety thought was uncatchable as it was so high.
The CB was fighting for a roster spot so he was of course giving it his all despite "knowing" that the ball was uncatchable. He was a star athlete coming out of college and had a great vertical. He leapt for the ball and said: "It was like Randy blocked out the sun. I "knew" nobody had a shot at that ball but I had to make the effort but Randy leaped higher than any receiver I had ever played against and he did it right after turning around for the ball. He must have been two feet higher than me. He came down with the ball and the safety and I were so shocked that we barely made an effort to tackle him. We got screamed at by the coaches afterwards".
He went on to mention that there were literally dozens of stories like that during Randy's first training camp. Nobody had ever seen a player like him. The leaping ability, the speed, the body control. He said the entire secondary room was just in awe.
The reserve CB lasted 2 1/2 years in the NFL. The other CB was a bit quieter (he had a much longer career) but said verbatim "I covered all the pros. Freeman, Moulds, Rice, Keyshawn, Irvin.. they're all good but they weren't like Randy. Nobody was like Randy."
I wish I could adequately describe the awe that the reserve CB had for Randy at that party. And this was twenty some years since that training camp!
I have the utmost respect for Jerry Rice. But he wasn't Randy Moss and the guys that lined up against them felt the same way.
