On May 25, I spent 799.14 yuan on eBay to purchase a used iPhone 17 (FedEx tracking number: 38158046****). I provided a complete delivery address, including my mobile number, suite/unit number , company name, and recipient name (YU C***). On May 29, the tracking information indicated the package had been delivered, with FedEx records showing the signer as "L.Lo." However, "L.Lo" is neither my name nor my signature; in fact, I never received the package. There are only three people in our company, including the boss, and usually, only another employee and I are in the office. None of us is named "L.Lo," and none of us signed for the package. In reality, I was present at the office during the days surrounding the reported delivery, yet no courier asked for my signature, nor did I receive any phone calls or text messages.
I subsequently filed a complaint with FedEx stating that the package had not been received, but they closed the case without any response. When I tried to file a complaint again, I encountered various issues: claims of input errors, temporary network problems, or notifications that a complaint already existed (since the first one had been unreasonably closed and could not be reopened). In short, I was unable to submit a second complaint. It is despicable for a major corporation like FedEx to deliberately create obstacles for online complaints.
I called FedEx to request a refund, but they refused. So much time has passed, yet the issue remains unresolved. FedEx told me to contact the seller, while the seller told me to contact FedEx. I later filed a complaint with eBay, but they refused to issue a refund, citing FedEx's record of delivery and signature. FedEx, the seller, and eBay have all passed the buck, leaving me without a refund to this day. eBay's claims policy is effectively meaningless, and buyers' rights are not protected at all.
My monthly income is only 3,000 yuan; after deducting rent and living expenses, I have very little money left. I live a difficult life—otherwise, I wouldn't have bought a used iPhone 17 on eBay.
I find the whole situation absolutely shocking. If a courier can simply scribble any name (not the recipient's) and claim the package has been delivered, where does that leave the recipient's rights? Doesn't this allow couriers to freely misappropriate recipients' items without facing any consequences?
If FedEx believes I am making unreasonable demands or attempting to fraudulently obtain compensation, I welcome them to conduct a handwriting analysis. I am ready for them to compare my handwriting with that "L.Lo" signature to determine who actually signed it. That will prove whether I am telling the truth.
I do not know how many others have experienced this same situation—where a courier can simply sign a name and make off with our belongings. If we remain silent about this, we are effectively condoning such misconduct.
This post is a translation from Chinese. Since I only speak Chinese and not English, I am at a disadvantage when calling customer service. I requested that FedEx have a Chinese-speaking representative contact me, but they claimed no one there spoke Chinese. In reality, I called multiple times; on one occasion, I did manage to reach a Chinese-speaking representative, but they did not issue a refund.
Everything I have stated is verifiable; please refer to the attached images for proof.

@eBay@depop I bought a second-hand iPhone on eBay, and the Fedex courier hacked my iPhone, which was obviously not my signature, but said that I had received it. I complained for several months, and Fedex won't give me a refund. EBay doesn't pay claims either. See my homepage for details.

. FedEx's customer service is effectively non-existent. Their official website deliberately creates obstacles to prevent consumers from filing complaints.
