We said our goodbyes as our Class of
2023 Seniors joined us to sing the Alma Mater at yesterday's Graduation Ceremony. We appreciate everything our Seniors have done to keep everyones spirits up and the choir alive. We love them more than they will ever know. 💙

Today, our Jaycapella performed at BAM and did such an AMAZING job ! We are so proud of everyone for putting in the amount of hard work and dedication towards this one goal. Thank you Theater for allowing us to be apart of this magical night !

We had the opportunity of singing the National Anthem at the JROTC Award Ceremony yesterday. We came in support of our choir member, Ryan who won a National Leadership Award ! Couldn’t be more proud of everyone !

Today, our Choir sang the National Anthem at todays SEA Induction Ceremony. We are so proud of everyone for continuing and working hard to prove their love for choir as a whole.

Today, two of our members participated in Elective Night welcoming and showing future

Last Thursday and Friday, we had some of our choir members attend Jones and Rayburn Middle Schools to show off our amazing skills and recruit future singers ! We are so excited to see everyone at Jay next year ! 💙

Introducing one of our seniors, Juliette Navarro. She has been in choir for 6 years and one piece of advice that she would give to incoming choir members would be - "don't be afraid to express yourself, your voice matters and you deserve to be heard".

Although it’s been some time, with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our Choir Director, Mr. Hendricks. You will always have a special place in our hearts and your impact on John Jay will always be with everyone. We love you and wish you the best! Thank you for everything! 💙
