If you work at a tech company and there are executive level individuals, you might have titles such as "Distinguished Engineer" or "Technology Fellow" at the top of the Engineering path.

Did you know? You can edit remote files via scp in vim under a Linux or Unix/macOS:

Also, you can open the file from within Vim in a new buffer:

Genius. They wrote a script to make a PDF look like it's printed, signed, and then scanned again. Because digital signatures are still not accepted in many places while a signed and scanned printout is.

Google, AWS, et al do have highly competent people (mostly). If they can run 100B+ businesses on a single cloud, your business can also do without multi-cloud.
Instead of trying to go multi-cloud, you are almost always better off trying to hire more competent people.

Adding multi-cloud for reliability is an oxymoron - you've just doubled the elements under your control...which is where the majority of outages come from. This is contraindicated for reliability.

100% of the self-caused outages could be predicted by five (5) metrics:
1. Thread-pool usage
2. Memory + heap usage/GC times
3. CPU load
4. Networking failures/connection count
5. Slow DB queries
