Liquid glass makes all my app icons look blurry in the tab-switcher... It's not beautiful, or accessible, it's just pointless fx. What happened to clean crisp usable UIs? Apple used to be the best at this, they're losing their edge.

@Tesla Great, send me the code so I can remove the bit where it breaks "home" behaviour by saving the looked up address instead of the raw source of truth coordinates. In this case, trying to do something clever led to a dumber outcome.

@Tesla Can you make it so that "home" is actually my home, and not the nearest street postcode? By all means look up the "nearest address" for presentation purposes, but don't store that as the truth source.

Just save the raw coordinates 🌏 instead of the nearest road.

Understand the separation of raw data (the location coords) vs. presentation (the human readable description).

@Tesla can you fix it so that "home" saves and uses the actual GPS location? Reverse geocoding the coords then geocoding that back totally breaks the navigation and "exclude home" functionality for many rural locations. Use the reverse geocoded address for presentation only.

@Kanishk3D What you think is good design (with a selected photo & the focal poi in the right place) turns out to be bad design when it meets real world data and the focal poi is behind the blur/text. Design is about problem solving, but ensure you are solving the right problem, start over!

@Steam why is it almost impossible to pass the robot test? My daughter forgot her password, she tried, I did, and my wife... We couldn't pass it, my wife eventually did after 4 attempts. Plus there are like 50 sections, it takes 5 minutes each time. Also, no way to get help!

@KevinNaughtonJr Not at all. The recent (10y) glut of "in it for the pay day" developers are cooked, but those of us who care about good engineering and passion are still searching for top engineers (and willing to pay). If AI cooks off the 90% wannabe devs, that's a good thing.

@luis_insights You see apparently successful builders doing that, plus a few actually successful ones. Hard to compare to the success rate of builders focusing on building but staying quiet.

@KodyTools I've never heard of any of those keyboards brands, I use an old standard Apple wired keyboard.
