One thing people need to understand about extremely kind, nice, and loving people, is that their other side is just as extreme. It's their moral compass that makes them gentle. Don't mistake their self-control for weakness.
Many women don’t want life to revolve around work. We crave balance, hobbies, slow mornings, creativity, nature, connection, and building meaningful things. Wanting a softer life doesn’t make us weak. We’re still capable of overcoming hard things when needed!
Be careful who you choose to keep close. Life can feel isolating, and people often end up choosing which kind of pain or mistreatment they’re willing to tolerate.
The real problem is, most of us were raised by parents who were just surviving so they taught us survival, not life. No one sat us down to explain how debt works, how to self soothe, how to say 'no' without guilt, or how to walk away from love that hurts. We weren't shown what emotional safety looks like, we were just told to keep the peace, suppress the feelings and work harder. Now we're adults paying bills on autopilot, spiraling in relationships, mistaking burnout for success and calling anxiety our personality. Lost, overwhelmed and wondering why we feel broken when in reality, we were just never taught the basics of being whole.
Girls don’t want to work. We want to spend our days doing our little silly hobbies. Going on early morning walks. Having coffee dates. Doing our at-home workouts. Trying new recipes. Reading a new book while sipping a cup of tea. Frolicking in nature. Building a small business
Psalm 103:1-5, a powerful call to praise, encourages the soul to bless the Lord and remember His benefits, including forgiveness, healing, redemption, and the renewal of youth, like an eagle.
