सूबेदार मेजर बिनॉय कुमार गुहा बिस्वास (सेवानिवृत्त), हमारे सबसे उम्रदराज दिग्गज वीरों में से एक, ने 1947, 1962 और 1971 के युद्धों के अपने अविस्मरणीय अनुभव साझा किए।

एक स्थिर स्वर और सैनिक के हृदय के साथ, उन्होंने ऐसी कहानियाँ सुनाईं जो केवल यादें नहीं थीं, बल्कि साहस, बलिदान और अतुलनीय देशभक्ति की गवाही थीं।
यह पहल हमें उस विरासत की याद दिलाती है जिसे हमने पाया है और उस कर्तव्य की भी जो हमें निभाना है।

As part of #EasternCommand’s endeavour to honour its war legends, Sub Maj Benoy Kumar Guha Biswas (Retd), one of its oldest veterans shares his unforgettable experiences from the wars of 1947, 1962 and 1971.

With a steady voice and #soldier’s heart, he recounted stories that were more than memories which are a testimony of grit, sacrifice and unmatched patriotism.

This initiative serves as a powerful reminder of the legacy we inherit and the duty we owe.

Speaking with unshakable conviction, he urged today’s youth to join the #IndianArmy, uphold the legacy of our #bravehearts and dedicate themselves to the service of the nation.

OPERATION SINDOOR

Consequent to the ceasefire and airspace violations on night of 10-11 May 2025, #GeneralUpendraDwivedi, #COAS reviewed the security situation with the Army Commanders of the Western Borders.

The #COAS has granted full authority to the Army Commanders for counteraction in the kinetic domain to any violation of the understanding reached vide the DGMO talks of 10 May 2025.
