I don't usually care to comment on Pat Leonard's posts. He's negative, granted the Giants have sucked and he's been right in predicting bad football... BUT... let me break down just how bad his 2026 prediction is for the Giants and showcase how much of a stretch this prediction is:

- Pat has the Giants scoring an average of 16.4 points per game. That would be a major regression from the Giants 22.4 ppg last year (16th in league), and on par with the 2017, 2021 and 2023 Giants offenses.

- Pat also has the Giants giving up 26.1 points per game, which would be worse than last year (25.8 ppg), and the worst Giants defense since 2019.

- The average scoring margin Pat has is -9.8 ppg. That would be the worst Giants average point margin since 2016, meaning the worst Giants team of the last decade.

While I am not an optimistic fan in general, I find it hard to believe Harbaugh would have the Giants regress this significantly on offense and in general.

Trump threw his weight behind repealing the sanctions. They were lifted. The contracts are moving, and the Trump family’s deals are expanding.
