i wonder how many goofy easter eggs race engineers have programmed into their drivers' steering wheels. incredible to see the difference between this and 30 years ago, when Niki Lauda said after the race, i'm not too sure which race it was
FOX absolutely nailed it with this overhead pit stop camera; they did it at the 500, too, and it is mesmerizing.
Need to see a broadcaster do this at a NASCAR race.
If you saw $999.07 on the ground, you’d pick it up, right? Jannik Sinner🔐
Couple things:
•Sinner is GUARANTEED to win
•Foazn won’t wake up at 5am to watch
I make money in my sleep; you wake up to make money #levels
This has to be the most insane feeling in a race car. A lot of drivers have said they’ve heard the crowd, but I’ve often thought that’s just fan service.
I wish I had it on video when Daly took the lead. The crowd erupted. I hope he wins it and I’m lucky enough to be there.
“I had a wild moment where I took the lead and my spotter said ‘clear’ and for the first time in my career I heard the people more than my spotter. It’s really an honor to represent the community. I love my state, I love my hometown, and I love being out there.” —@ConorDaly22
One of the things I’m glad I saw at the IMS shops today was @AaronLikens. I’ve been looking forward to reading his story and I really wanted to get a copy at IMS, it just felt right.
Shoutout to the production crew who had to stay there last night for no race until about 10pm, then had to wake up at 4am for a race that’s now at 9pm. I feel for ya. Thats a long day.
