@fatsculler It’s a regatta not a s0dding head race. (Take note Dorney 1,2,3). Hey, how about rowing-cross? 1k slalom, round a buoy. First crew’s boat back on rack wins.
@TimesRadio If you want to replace the Tories, first thing you do is kill the Tories. Take their space and then turn your fire on Labour at the next election. This is the Reform plan. The fewer Tories in the next parliament the better for them.
@edwinhayward I’d love to see the Tories wiped out but it would create a political vacuum. Who is more likely to fill it? Sure the LibDems might become the official opposition but my worry is in the country it will be Reform. Thats their plan.
@edwinhayward Indeed, it's worse here. RN is sitting on around 35% support. With FPTP in the UK, 35% can get you a majority govt. Right now, I'd agree Reform have a potential ceiling of 20-25% but in 5 years time, when the Tories have been absorbed, and Labour are an unpopular goverment....
@Peston This is about hiding the criminals (insider dealers) amongst the simply stupid (betting on yourself to lose). I will also wager it kicks the can passed next Thursday.
@zoedetoledo 'So Mr Cracknell, how long after sustaining brain damage did you decide to become a Tory candidate?' Suffice to say in the rapidly shrinking eventuality he gets elected, a ministerial career is not beckoning.
@DickMackintosh Gosh, imagine giving votes to non-Tories! The only thing that appalls me is that after the election Cruddas and his anti-democratic cohort will still be squatting in that wonderfully democratic institution the House of Lords.
@RishiSunak A Brexit vote based on lies from you and your friends like Farage. You lied then, and you've double down on those lies ever since. Until you start telling the truth about Brexit, no one will believe anything else you say.
@fatsculler Given the level of entries and capacity at qualifiers, they don't have much other than to make qualifying ridiculously tough. Don't think I've ever seen so many Marlow crews not have to qualify.
