@SamMiddleton8@AdamFulwell_ Unfortunately this is how it is nowadays, once a players head is turned that’s it, the argument that player is under contract and is going nowhere is absolute bollocks. Clubs are business and it’s not in their interest to keep a player that doesn’t want to be there.
@TaxiManTips@bbekahmargaret This is spot on. Players are not invested like the fans are, it literally is job to them. It is getting worse but you just have to enjoy what the players given to the club and look forward to the next.
@AllLeeds______@Vileanimal1919 Plenty of "fans" about like this. I wasn’t keen on the 49ers last term and definitely didn’t think Farke should be the manger, proved wrong on both counts. From now on I’ll judge the transfers when the window shuts and the manager at the end of the season. Trust the process.
@JordyP1993 Out of interest what did you expect them to do? Player in the last year of his contract making it know that he wouldn’t be signing a new contract. Keep him for another year and let him go on a free?
@DarraghC81@eRotation@alanjmcdaid@radio_bellers Impossible to say, by all accounts like Messier there was interest in him but they didn’t want sell. Without a doubt it would be a lot more than this year. He’s not as good as Van Heke at the moment but under the right coach he could be.
@ryanadsett The reason most Leeds fans are pissed is as always they think he’s worth a lot more even though he’s got a year left and he wants to leave for a new challenge. Decent player when he’s on it but if you’re expecting to be anywhere near Van Heke you’re going to be disappointed.
@eRotation@alanjmcdaid@radio_bellers@DarraghC81 It’s irrelevant. Pascal wanted to go and refused to sign a new contract, something the buying club would have known. It was take what we got offered or hang on for another year and watch him go for nothing. Should have sold him last year for proper money.
@DarraghC81 Because if the player doesn’t want to stay we have little option. If a player is actively looking for a new club and putting it out there he won’t be signing a new deal every club knows they can get him on the cheap. People comparing it to the Van Hecke deal are deluded.
@BerenCross@LUFCDATA It’s an OK deal for a player with one year left, better options out there if we can get one. It’ll be interesting to see if any other teams come in with a bid, if he’s that good they will.
@theadelites Walk away, we’re not in the position where we can spend that amount on a player that wasn’t a starter in the championship because he might become something special.
@WestHam_Central Don’t know if you have to sell or not but one thing I do know is that any player that is any good and has his wages halved is getting out of your club at the first opportunity.
@FFCVoice You have to have a laugh at these melts with their coping mechanism, nobody knows what he’ll be on least of all Fulham fans, no way he’ll be on 120k. The thing we do know is he doesn’t want to play for you, get over it.
@JTurner_2000@FootyAccums Yea it’s a risk but then again so was DCL. If he was consist he would be 80 mil plus and we are not in a position to spend that on one player.
@FPL_Harry What? And ruin him like you do every other player. We’ve got a team that cost next to compared to yours and you still couldn’t beat us in the league.
@WestHam_Central Nobody is buying or selling at the moment, it’ll be different story near the end of the window. Majority of what’s being said at the moment is agent talk. The players you’re talking about wont be of any use to you in the Championship.
