@Jenny_1884 Shops used to be happy to give you bags with their name on as it was virtually free advertising for them. I used to look at card shop bags in the Post Office to see which shops had sold most cards. I was delighted when they were ours and not WH Smiths! :-)
@juneslater17 I think that they've gone mad over injections to be honest. If I'd had one for measles when I was young I might not be very deaf in one ear now, but, I did want to be protected from shingles but not from pneumonia which was always regarded as 'the old people's friend'.
@JohnCleese They're not protecting girls and women who have been abused. What would they think and do if it had happened to them? Roll over and accept it or object and castrate every one before deporting them?
@smclellanduk@AllisonPearson@janetapratt Where people are caught in the act like the Golli and Henry Nowak's killer or caught on camera like the brute who murdered Ann Widdecombe, I have no problem with the death penalty. Saves money and prison spaces.
@tonyaddison@latimeralder On the contrary, it's Their BBC. It doesn't represent what I used to like and love in the BBC many years ago. It no longer speaks truth unto nation as they once claimed.
@thecarolemalone Unfortunately this seems to be typical Labour type action, tweet nastily about anyone who has died that they don't agree with, call other people 'scum' and disrespect anyone they disagree with. They seem incapable of a fair and frank exchange of views.
@anna37484896@LeeAndersonMP_ I believe that is ascribed to Ann incorrectly and not to Michael Howard then Home Secretary. Describing someone as 'an evil bitch' is disrespectful to the dead no matter what you thought of her.
@angustaylor2306@johnredwood They had 14 years in which to hold a team building exercise, they failed to plan so were planning to fail, and that worked spectacularly.
