"Money is very important for love. You need it to do this and buy that and whatever"
But when it is time to pay bills, you say your money is your money and it is a man's responsibility blah blah blah.
You cant fake love. Love will always expose you - whether you're real or a joker. That is why societies where people actually love, money is never a factor. They just want to be with you, and you'll both figure life out together by working to sort bills and looking after each other.
Once money is more important to you than the person, you'll never be able to love them.
I need to have this conversation with rational-thinking, non-condescending Christians because I think some of you are missing my point.
Are you saying that because it is evangelism, it should be done regardless of whether it is actually reaching anyone? Is it just about being able to say, “I’ve evangelised,” or should we care about whether it was effectively done?
“The foolishness of God is wisdom.” “Who are you to determine its efficiency?” You lots are being emotional and evading the question.
My context is the old man with a megaphone at 6am on a deserted junction. He preaches well, but there is barely anyone there to hear him. I’m usually the only person passing, and I’m on the move.
I’m not questioning street evangelism o. I’m asking whether there are better channels and locations for it. It could even be as simple as moving a little further to the main bus stop.
And yes, maybe God specifically told him to stand there. If so, fair enough. But receiving an instruction and executing it well are two different things.
If God tells me to give more, for example, I can obey the instruction and still exercise poor judgment in how I execute it. If I give money to someone struggling with addiction, technically I have “given,” but I may have executed the instruction poorly if the money simply fuels the addiction.
Same thing here. If God says, “Preach here,” then by all means, preach there 🙏. But if the instruction is simply to preach, why deliberately choose a place where nobody is listening when there are better places to reach people?
That’s the conversation I’m trying to have, not whether street evangelism is good, but whether we should also care about the effectiveness of how we do it.
We need to practise the US political system, where parties are more clearly aligned around policies, like Republicans and Democrats.
A presidential candidate shouldn’t say they intend to remove subsidy while the vice-presidential candidate intends to retain it.
Policy alignment is crucial because, ordinarily, it is what should form the basis of voting blocs.
You people underestimate Nigeria's problem.
If you like, do street police. Or ward autonomy, unless you instill a culture of integrity and consequences, none of it will work.
When Fashola was in Lagos, did LASTMA work or not?
Why are they less efficient now than they were under his tenure??
Is it not the same organization.
You underestimate the impact of what a human leader who considers himself beholden to the people can bring.
@KingdmHeritage Where is it stated in the bible? I don't think bible explicitly mentioned anything about it. I'm not saying it's not good, I'm just saying bible did not say anything like that.
65 FREE SURGERIES FOR 65 CHILDREN
Yesterday, I attended the final follow-up clinic and appreciation programme at Mother Mary Hospital, Isolo, Lagos, following the successful completion of 65 free surgeries for children to mark my 65th birthday.
I am deeply grateful to God Almighty for guiding the medical team throughout the process and for granting all 65 children safe and successful surgeries.
The surgeries, led by Dr Folaseye Adebayo and her dedicated team, included adenotonsillectomy. This procedure removes enlarged or chronically infected tonsils and adenoids, which can cause breathing difficulties, recurrent infections, and sleep-related problems in children.
What made the occasion particularly touching was listening to parents share their testimonies and hearing how these procedures have improved their children’s health and quality of life.
My profound appreciation goes to @DrFolaseye Adebayo and her entire team, the hospital management, the parents, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible.
For me, birthdays are not merely occasions for celebration. They are opportunities to give back, touch lives, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
I thank God for the privilege of being part of this initiative and, most importantly, for the gift of 65 healthy and hopeful children.
May God continue to bless all those who dedicate their lives to saving and improving the lives of others.

Egbon mi,
We’ve had this back and forth over and time again in the past but I’m going to gladly repeat myself again on the headship of a man!!!
The Divine Order is Man > Women > Children and will continue to be so. However, the headship of man is not tied to his money. It’s not tied to age, to influence, it is just what it is.
There’s no where in the Bible God said a man who isn’t as rich as his wife is a terrible husband or should be ready to take the place of a wife in marriage. Children do not suddenly become parents because they now have money.
Just as a first child doesn’t become the last child simply because he/she isn’t the richest child in the family, a man is not the head of the home because he’s the richest person in the family.
Ibukun Awosika was earning significantly more than her husband for at least their first 13 years of marriage. Do you honestly believe that her money wouldn’t have been planned with and depended on for investments and other things important to the family they were trying to build and have built for themselves?!
God didn’t make use a woman to rule in those days as “Kings” becasue of the way society was arranged at the time. But see how God used Deborah and Jael in the book of Judges. I mean, Deborah prophet through whom God’s instruction to go to battle was given, and she accompanied Israel’s military leader. But that’s not even the point of this entire thing!!!
Again, money shouldn’t be an issue in any healthy marriage. If there are couples going through issues in marriage because of money, then that marriage should simply not exist. Let both the husband and wife go their separate ways and live for themselves, since the money God has blessed either of them with for the success of their marriage has become the very cog in the wheel of their marriage.
At the end of the day, only a money-sexual whore would not see her money as belonging in the family and happily using it for the family!!!
I will not be happily doing chores and consistently making the life of my wife easier, despite earning than she does if I had the faintest ideas that she values money than she values me.
I am not the head of my house simply because I’m making more money than my wife!!!
I started with OAUCDL 2018, gained admission 2019, i studied a Five year course. Now I'm done in 2026.
Grateful to God and my parents for being my strong support. I did politics across all boards, made impacts, met alot of people. I'm so happy to have leave an indelible mark on campus.
I take a bow Great Ife. ❤️✨️
