Consumer forum my personal exp is bad. I almost spent 2k for xerox. Later fighting and attending 3yrs Court said You got ur money back and case dismissed. Court didnt saw that bcz of all this my mother policy lapsed and when hospitalization took place was not covered and charged me around 4lacs in hospital bills. What we suffered that diff during covid period. Later my mother expired all thank to HDFC bank. To earn some money HDFC bank did all this. I regret I am a HDFC bank share holder.
Actually during covid period I was not able to consult anyone about all this. Later when I came to know that we have to contact RBI it was late. I was surprised with consumer forum result. After this who will contact cosumer forum and waste time. Only for xerox and all I have spent around 2k.
Sir, I paid online premium for mediclaim policy. Money deducted from my RBL account. Care Insurance said payment not received. I contacted RBL they said they have raise charge back with Insurance bank i.e HDFC bank. HDFC bank said services on going cannot reversed. Again I asked RBL , then I got reply from HDFC they have Manually refunded money. Again I Contacted RBI then HDFC neft me the money this took around 14 months. This all happened during Covid period. After two years of incident i contacted RBI they said this incident have passed more than 2yrs so they cannot take any action. Then I contacted Consumer court. After three yrs of fighting Consumer court said you got ur money back so case dismissed. When opp party was never came to court to argue. This has made me realise its not easy to get justice. Later I came to know that HDFC ket that money with them and have earned interest. @HDFC_Bank and now HDFC saying Contact RBL bank I am a third party we cannot give you the details.

No sir, it's a complete new story I mean new scam. Holding our money when I asked where's my money hdfc said insurance service is going on so cannot refund. When I said policy expired as Insurance company not received money then HDFC said money manually refunded. When I contacted RBI money got next in my account from HDFC. When I asked HDFC how much interest have you earned HDFC said you are third party how can we give all information. When HDfc kept my money for 14 months that time they enjoyed and did party when I asked saying who are you.

They recognized my father for the refund but hide behind "Third Party" status to avoid the @RBI โน100/day penalty. Meanwhile, the 432-day delay cost my mother her medical policy. ๐

HDFC bank Not only kept my money for 432 days but also earned Interest on my money. To avoid RBI penalty instead of reverse the refund they bypass the RBI rules and Neft me the money after 432 days. When i asked for details they are saying we cannot share details to third party.

His elderly father paid โน19,343 for his late mother's health insurance in April 2021.
HDFC Bank held that money in an internal pool account for 432 days.
No alert. No update. No interest.
When Jayesh raised a chargeback through RBL Bank in July 2021, HDFC rejected it - claiming "services were provided."
They weren't.
After 14 months of follow-ups, HDFC quietly issued a manual NEFT refund of โน18,843 directly to the family.
No RBL permission needed. No "third party" excuse.
But when Jayesh asked how much float interest HDFC earned on his father's money during those 432 days.
The bank said: "You are a third party. Contact RBL Bank."
Let that sink in.
Independent enough to keep the money. Independent enough to refund the money. But suddenly dependent on another bank when it's time to pay interest?
RBI mandates โน100/day penalty for refund delays. 432 days ร โน100 = โน43,200.
HDFC has paid: โน0.
This is not a glitch. This is not a technical error.
This is a system designed to exhaust a grieving family until they quietly give up.
