Content is everything that has a purpose and is designed and presented for someone (a specific audience within a particular discourse community, although that “someone” could be yourself in some cases). #engl318mu

User experience is how someone navigates through a space. Well designed spaces tend to lead toward a more positive user experience bc there are less clicks involved, more eye-catching sections, etc. that make it easier and more enjoyable for a viewer to use #engl318mu

Audience are the specific people your content is targeted towards (audience is not everyone). Content should be designed to very clearly and quickly tell the reader who it’s meant for. #engl318mu

My writing process begins w/reading an assignment as soon as it comes out & then waiting a day or so to start it (if the due date allows). This gives me a chance to process & come up w/ideas. Then I write everything in one sitting (if I can) & revise revise revise! #engl318mu

@laytonn38 Is your guide for new users looking to improve or experienced users? If they’re newer I don’t think a step by step would be boring/pointless. If they’re more experienced u could add a note saying to keep doing any steps they’ve been doing bc it’ll improve the account #engl318mu

@scout1917 I like the diff. colors & I think it’s a good way to break up the text. The colors show that each of the words are different ideas (and then you tie them together w/the paragraph below). Also using IG colors helps focus the design around IG itself, in my opinion #engl318mu

This is my conclusion for my H2W guide. In the outline it says reflect/connect where you see evidence of the elements of the H2W guide in your content. I’m not sure I’ve quite done this. Any suggestions of what I could add? #engl318mu

@madiggs1 I really like the format you’ve got! It makes it easy to follow along as a reader. My only suggestion would be to not underline the entire first section. Underlining can sometimes be difficult to read when there’s a lot of it but I like that each section looks diff. #engl318mu

@mstoltzfus15 I don’t think your main takeaways are repetitive. I like that you summarize the paragraph up with them, it not only helps the reader if they skimmed the paragraph but it also tells them specifically what is important (in case they missed it in paragraph format) #engl318mu

@Kmfunk03 I like it! My one suggestion might be to put the picture examples beside the step they go with (so that you see the image as you read the step). But I also like it the way it is #engl318mu
